I went on the GW site to check and see if death from the skies was in stock yet as I finally have the money to pick up a copy, and it's gone. I can't find it on their site anywhere, and when I search it, it's still not there. When I go to the warhammer 40k main page, it is in the news feed style thing, but if I click on "see details", it brings me back to the GW home page.

Is there another problem with supplying this book, is it gone, or am I just to sleepy to internet today?

Also I live in Canada, in case it may be a regional supply thing.

I also like to support my local store, but I need the rules to use my fliers. I don't want to intentionally gimp myself. I did already talk to my local store owner about it (we chat often as we both play DA), and since I need it for my C:SM he recommended I get it. He knows having it will "encourage" me to buy flier models from him

I switched my country to yours and I could access it. Seems it's only available in Europe, then. Oh well...

That's what I was wondering. Last time I could get to the page, and it told me it was out of stock. Which is better than making me wonder like this. Thank you for being more helpful than GW site.

That may sound sarcastic, but seriously, thanks

I can use my flyers. The rules are in the big rule book.

Yes but other cannot. It's easy to say "well it doesn't affect me so it can go away", but people it does affect probably don't share your opinion. I didn't get the white dwarf for my storm talon, and I need it to run my storm raven. Without it, I can't run my fliers, and other armies cannot either. We want one for my gaming group for reference since our group contains at least one of every army updated by that book.

i dont have it but i still use my dakkajets on occation because i know the ONLY thing that changed for them was Fighta Ace got reworded and fixed to work against Fliers like it was originally intended to do (never got changed when Fliers were no longer Fast Skimmers)

Unless they give orks more fliers and i need that book for it(pissing off more people in the process since they'd need to rebuy the book) or heavily reworked the current ones, im not buying it. Money-grabbing claw will only find lint in my pockets.

but do you have the white dwarf rules for the fliers? As I don't, I have no way to play my fliers.

well done! im glad for you! the FAQ etc tells you to no longer refer to the BRB but "death from the skies" so it technically invalidates your rules.... not that i mind friendly game ill let you use my book as i will be. not friendly game = got book or no plane for you... its a jerk from them but its the age old people screamed for official copies of the rules... now that they exist " I WANT THEM FREEEEE!!!" its stupid....

I'll take the warning for this comment, but as a moral objection to DftS, I simply pirated the rules for the fliers I needed. If GW wants to do something immoral, I will too.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...
