I've seen some great pieces and poses for berserker and kharn conversions, I was wondering if anyone had any specific bits or models in mind to use to make them look more dynamic, thanks guys

Well the berzerkers come with running legs so they are more dynamic as the normal csm. And you can do a lot with changing the arm position and alignment of the torso. Especially the arms are in need of repositioning as they sit a little bit to close to the torso. Just pin them to the torso on in a different angle and fill the gap with GS.

Those two are converted but you could archive similar poses only with slight reposing of the bits from the box.

And if also seen nice kharn conversions based on this model. It's an older metal one but still workeable:

And if you just want to make them look different there are a ton o mean looking chaos bitz(weapons, shoulders and heads) from puppetswar in their mayhem warriors category.

Pinning is the use of a small wire to strengthen the connection between parts. Drill aligning holes in both parts you want to connect and glue a small wire (metal paper clip for example) into it.
In the case of berserker arms don't glue the arms flat to the toros but bent the wire so that the upper part of the shoulder sits on the torso but the arm is still angled in a way you like. Fill the gap with GS and if you trust your sculpting skills remodel the armor and joint. But sculpting isn't that important as on most poses the shoulder guard with cover most of the gap. If you look at the second picture you can see on the arm to the right what i mean with remodeling. The arm i used there is just a stock arm. I haven't done much fancy reposing other than rotating the glove and pinning in an angle.
