Technically its not exactly Wakfu the boardgames since the main characters are only promo figs, but it does take place in the same universe. Sweet spot seems to be $100
Though if these guys are smart then these miniatures should be compatible with Super Dungeon Explorer

Awesome, never played Wakfu or Dofus but I fricking love Gustuavs/Xa-Xa-Xa's character designs and artwork, will be keeping a close eye on this.
It may be worthy of note that there is an online "Learn to Play" interactive flash on the main Krosmaster site, its for the digital version of the game but I would presume they're both the same in terms of base gameplay. Heres the link: http://www.krosmaster.com/en/tutorial

Even the game play video looks really solid. I mean, everything about this game just oozes "fun;" and they're prepaints, which will be great for me considering with all my KS shipping this year, I'll have a metric crapton of unpainted plastic and resin..
Did you see the level that includes the prepainted 3D resin terrain and tokens......

Well...over half funded with 47 days still to go. Wife just got a job, so we will be keeping an eye on this and likely going in for the $150 level. Prepainted is what really sells this, as there is already so much bare plastic sitting around this house waiting for its turn under the brush.

Some Investigators over in the comments section seem to has sussed out that this is, in many ways, pretty much a pre-order.
I'm OK with that, though I'd still like to know how to get the Goultard and Nox Promo figures outside of the $500 "I Want All The Things Now" pledge level,
Oh, and if the 'expansions' are random, or if they include figures already in the main game - I'm hoping not, as duplicates don't seem like a lot of fun.

I agree that I hope the other promos will be available outside of the highest pledge, Nox is the best!
They already showed that the expansions are going to show their contents I assume, though yes there are quite a lot of recolors with only slightly variations. Heck the Fire and Ice pack has 2 of those sword guys

Kinda sucks you can't get the 3D counters and resin terrain outside the higher pledge levels. They should do them as add ons. Also, is anyone else surprised that the first stretch goal doesn't come until 100k? Which is twice the initial fund level.

On the topic of terrain, they had an update that explains they only made a limited number of these. Perhaps a bit short sighted of them?
There has been a lot of talk regarding the $500 pledge level, and whether there was value in it -
I guess someone saw the value in this – it sold out overnight! O.o … We are very impressed with that. There will be talks this weekend about what more we can do to add in. There is a lot of interest in the resin token sets still, so we are discussing different things we can offer.
To be straight up with you all, the special resin token sets are not made in large quantity (we were only making 200 complete sets, half of which were planned towards Kickstarter) and there is quite an expense on these. That is a big part of the value with this set, and really – they are very cool, I’m sure you will all love them!

That last creator update was less than impressive in both content and tone.
It isn't a good idea to get aggressive with your potential customers.
They avoided answering the questions that were specifically asked in regards to the $500 level, among other things.
This one I still very attractive, but this attitude, combined with the pre-order nature of this (I'm channeling RiTides here!) makes this one come across as a bit of a money grab...

I understand the disappointment on the content, but I'm not seeing any aggressiveness. Unless you mean it's a similar "over-friendlyness" similar to that other KS?

I've got it confirmed from Japanime Games (via email and the comments section on KS) that European copies of the games will ship directly from France to their EU customers. Therefore no import duties and additional taxes, which is a big thing for me too.
Now if only I can get a response from Arena Rex about the same issue . . . . .
