I've kept my order for Septimius/Nero etc,

but I've taken them up on split shipping to get the majority of my pledge ASAP

my suspicion is that MIKH underestimated the amount of work needed to learn lion and horse anatomy, and figure out how to sculpt it and thus under charged,

and is now finishing stuff up 'off the clock' between paying projects, not ideal but since I'm sure it will eventually get done and that I'll like what he'll eventually come up with I'll stick it out

They've also previewed 2 pages from the rulebook, which shows some of the new after KS stuff and a Rhino by the look of it.

Since I know I'm going to be ordering from them later, I'm taking advantage of the "I.O.U." option - I appreciate it being one of the options!

Also, I don't blame them for this extra delay. We all know who it is!

Just sorted my split shipping payment which they are collecting up front, I suppose it saves a lot of hassle with extra admin

$16 to the UK which seems reasonable

I THINK I'll be going with the split shipping option, but still mulling it over. I'm really just glad it's an option, considering how much time our boy MIKH is taking (though like you, Orlando, I'm very much in the "it'll be good so I can be patient" camp).

Also: crazy hyena handler and rampaging rhino for my arena in the near future? Yes, please.

Backers, we are getting very close. It is likely that we'll begin shipping rewards out in October! Fingers crossed everyone.

Rulebooks

Our rulebooks have been sent off for production. We should have thousands in our hands by the end of September. Our numerous production delays over the past few months have allowed us the time to refine and add content to this book. What was originally going to be a simple rules reference is now 52 pages long, with half of the book dedicated to history and background. We are thrilled with the final product and cannot wait to share it with you.

Game Cards

Model game cards are at the printer, we should have them within a week or so.

Arena Mat

Here we present the final artwork for the arena mat by Amber Blade Jones. She has pretty much redrawn the entire piece. There are a lot of interesting characters in the crowds, and none of them are wearing baseball caps (as was the case in the original sketch). These are at the printer, we expect them to be delivered before the end of September.

Septimus Progress

MIKH has been working on Septimus full-time. The pieces which are shared by rider and on-foot model have been sculpted and cast to save time. His helmet is incomplete in the following WiP images. Both minis will need unique plumage of course!
