Can Eldrad still cast the same power twice using his staff if he has divination or telepathy powers instead of codex powers?

As long as he isn't in CC, yes he can.

This is why Eldar don't have Biomancy. Eldrad with +2D3 Str and T? And a second power to use? Nasty.

He can cast 3spells and 2 of those spells can be repeats or just 3 different spells of the 5 (codex) or 4 (BRB) spells he has.

Eldar with Biomancy would be awesome. Although with only one attack Eldrad and Seers won't be making full use of the extra strength.

If you could cast it on an avatar on the other hand....

On a side note, I always thought eldar should have access to more power decks especially pyromancy and telekinesis.

I mean, they already have powers like destructor and eldritch storm which work like pyromancy and telekinesis so there is a codex precident for it.

Hopefully they will get more in the new codex (and more decent codex powers) as they are meant to be the most powerful psykers in the galaxy, now that tau and necrons are the shootiest alien races and the dark eldar are the fastest, psychic power is all we have left that is ours!

A guy who works at my LGS argued that Orks are the strongest psychers because if they believe it works, then it works. I mean the orks believe a spacemarine HQ can't die so he comes back to life on a 3+ roll because the freaking orks beleive he can't die. Eldar has the widest range of powerful psyching.

I'm pretty sure Farseers and Eldrad can pick from any tree, just that Divination benefits Eldar the most ( people argue).

The Eldar only get divination or telepathy I'm afraid.

Its because ordinance is still a word.
However, firing ordinance at someone isn't nearly as threatening as firing ordnance at someone.
Ordinance is a local law, or bill, or other form of legislation.
Ordnance is high caliber explosives.
No 'I' in ordnance.
Don't drown the enemy in legislation, drown them in explosives.

Though I do personally agree there should be a greater range of powers, maybe not telekenisis but as he mentioned pyromancy has a precedent and maybe a bonesinger type unit with biomancy powers. But truthfully I'm pretty happy having access to divination and telepathy to a lesser extent.

"I have all the powers of Hell at my disposal. Who are you to question me?"

"You stand accused of violence against Iyanden. That your crime has not yet been committed is of no consequence. The sentence is oblivion."

Not to mention that Eldar probably have the best codex powers available. Fortune? Doom? yes please.
