Brian Blessed was annoying, but at least it wasn't the usual Firefly rhetoric.
It never hurts to ask people to keep the comments focused on actual questions, requests, and observations. You don't have to be rude about it, and the worst thing that will happen is it will stay the same.
15 different people asking throughout a day would send a clear message. It's only annoying when the same guy keeps asking.

It's doing okay, we're about to beat what KoW raised in total.
So far the pattern is matching Dreadball quite closely, with a lull after the first couple of weeks until either the freebies start to stack up or appealing add-ons hit. Until that happens, the average pledge tends to hover around $150, and no real spikes in backer numbers.
And the last 2 weeks of Dreadball were very interesting indeed, about 70% of the funding hit in the last 2 weeks:
Hoping for something similar with deadzone. We're at about 47 minis currently, once that hits 80 or so, you get a lot more people buying in.
You can have up to 30 or so models in a team, so an upgrade to the $290 "Assault Team" level for 2x Strike Team is pretty appealing, since it looks like the starters will end up with something like 12-15 minis in each. I can see a lot of people going for that, especially if they didn't get an early bird. I'm already considering adding an extra $35 to fill out my Rebs since I know they'll be my main faction.
The last day of this should be pretty spectacular... $500k or so of Mantic-tier value for money and exciting stretches, with pretty big hooks for the crowd that isn't interested in Mantic's game..
We know they want to do an extra set of terrain, so $150k of funding will probably go towards another 3 sprues at some point.
Worth nothing that the entire sample terrain table in the pics is made using only *one* sprue's worth of terrain, the first sprue alone has the walls, bulkheads, doors/windows, gangplanks and barricades/battlements.
If they manage to get 6 or so sprues of the terrain produced, then it's going to be the best stuff on the market on all marks.. value, quality and variety, even GW only has 3 sprues for its cities of death, and didn't bother to release the "generic" CoD set they had already sculpted and tooled (the studio uses it all the time to make terrain). There's a lot of good MDF stuff out there, but the pricing and sculpt quality on it just can't quite hit the mark compared to plastic... the high quality stuff tends to be the more expensive stuff since lasers take more time to cut it.

Yeah, I've just put in a 'finger in the air' add-on pledge so far. Once there's a lot of add-ons and I actually start totalling the things I want up I'm sure my pledge will skyrocket.

To ping off what Scarlet squig is saying, some folks forget how much easier and cheaper it is just to get a double pack, versus piecemeal grabbing all the stuff you want and you end up paying more then the double, but don't get as much stuff. Depending on how the scenery add-ons are priced, this is something to pay attention to.

Right now I can foresee wanting a different set of add-ons for that extra $140 rather than a bunch of duplicate miniatures... especially when hey rele4ase the Terrain Add-On, which will presumably offer more terrain bang for our bucks.

On a different note, I thought we'd be able to hit that new SG today. Hopefully we do before the KS day rolls over on kicktraq. There are some other KSers right now that I am at a lose with how they are doing a bit better then this one.

Well the update yesterday seemed to get everyone’s creative juices flowing with the highest number of comments on a post we’ve ever had… please keep the ideas coming!

Deadzone Scenery Coming Tomorrow!
Many of you have been clamoring for scenery add-ons and a scenery-only pledge level. Well, we’ll be bringing them to you at 5pm BST/ 8am PST/ 11am EST tomorrow – please spread the word!
Some of you have asked how many sprues it would require to build the building in the video. This assembly uses a couple of pieces from across the 3 different types of sprue, namely 3 floor tiles, 4 Half Tiles, 3 Barricades plus connectors – it doesn’t use any of the wall tiles or cross sections however!
New Stretch Goal!
To celebrate the impending launch of the scenery add-ons, we’re giving away a scenery sprue!
$375,000 – Scenery Sprue
If we hit this goal we will include one of our fantastic Building Sprues into all pledges of Recon ($100) and up!
Here’s a blueprint of the scenery tile designs you’re already getting! Though there's nothing to say more aren't coming
This Building Sprue will give you an extra 6 tiles and means that you’ll be getting a total of 5 sprues in Recon (4 Building Sprues + 1 Accessory Sprue) and 7 at Strike Team (6 Building Sprues + 1 Accessory Sprue) plus all of the connectors you need to assemble your buildings!
Whether you're playing Deadzone or any other sci-fi game, these kits are perfect for filling your game table!
