Subject: Mantic Deadzone Kickstarter - less than 30 hours left! - $460k goal: Asterian Faction Booster
let's be honest we don't need any of this but we so want it I'm trying to stop this one spiraling out of control in for $583 now - I cut back the 6 Booster bundles for $150 to 6 Boosters for $100 to try to free up some funds I can probably run another $100 but I need to see what happens after $1 million
Oh and they should have the first Zombie renders in the next update.

Will the FF and Asterian Boosters for $50/ea (bogo) have all the stuff from the Expanded Universe 2 Faction thingy(for $50)?

New update this is one to watch out for if you want solo rules the AI cards are digital only as part of the pledge you have to play $8 for a printed set if you want them.
I'd like to see a mini RPG mode using mercs to fight with the zombies as part of the new solo zombie rules or as a further stretch at some point. At that point I don't even need to bother playing Zombicide anymore- I'll have enough pieces by the end of this campaign to recreate the entire game in the Warpath universe.
Wit a few damaged battlezones added in I can see the stuff from Escape/ Eden making some fun proxy survivors to take on the Plague.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
27 hours to go! Zombie Render; Connector Video and NEW Add-ons!
Update #76 · Jun 1, 2013 · comment
We’ve had the first render of the new Plague Zombies in from our digital sculptor and we must say, even though it’s work in progress and unposed, it looks fantastic!
From here the model will get rendered and cut up. It’s being designed to be compatible with our Kings of War Zombies and Ghouls, and will feature a Ball Joint at the waist for poseability and fully interchangeable components!
With this pic to hand, here's a little deal to help your guys get more of them...
Deadzone Connectors – how do they work?
Trust us, it’s more exciting than it sounds!! Remember, all of the components used in the video are prototypes. Your scenery, connectors and accessories will be hard plastic!!
New Add-ons!
Today we’ve added the Battle Foam Bag to the main page as an add-on!
It contains several layers of foam and will hold approximately 200 miniatures – more than enough to hold your figures at Strike Team!!
It will also ship in a separate package to your main shipment. Shipping has been included in the price.
A.I. Deck
Earlier in the campaign we secured the funding for Solo Play rules and A.I. Cards. These were included digitally in your pledge for free. If you want a printed set of cards then they are now available to add-on to your pledge:
Secret Weapon
Justin from Secret Weapon has been busy – and today I can bring you the 4’x4’ hard plastic Secret Weapon Board!
This configuration includes 16 modular plastic tiles with connectors and is now available to add on to your pledge!
AND FINALLY
Because who doesn’t like silhouettes?
Plenty more to come folks – and less than 30 hours to go! Tell everyone!!
PS - in a minor amendment to our last update, the Asterian Faction Booster goal should be listed as $860,000 as originally announced! Our apologies for the error.
The inevitable Battle Foam bag offer makes an appearance, along with a Zombie deal and a silhouette of something...
Hmm, the bag may definitely get me to pledge a bit more. I've been going over my pledge again and I've cut out some stuff I don't need (had a few random specialists that are included in my bundles and I wont be needing the WP Captain after seeing the helmeted one for Deadzone) so I have a bit more room now. So I'm currently hemming and hawing over random non-miniature add-ons. I could use a new bag (my old one is 6+ years old and getting really ratty) but more mats or even terrain might be nice.
Or maybe I should hold off a little longer to see what other restic crack they can use to pull me in.
The zombie deal is also sounding really nice, only $0.56 a zombie and the quality of the render looks great (should easily work for undead in Warzone, certainly has the shoulder pads for it!). But then... painting 80 zombies might break me.
Great way to start a Plague army in Warpath though (or if you have need of zombies for 40k). If nothing else, this has me excited to see the Warpath KS next year (so much money will be poured in to that).
Yeah, my initial interest was for having some nice, clean sci-fi terrain for use in Infinity and a few other games. The extra spending on the minis is just a bonus.
But this stuff should be great for Infinity, especially as a way of building a lot of specialized terrain for Campaing: Paradiso. I may have to add another few battlezones just to make some specific Infinity terrain like a 12"X12" room with a couple of doorways.
And don't forget the Atenociti's Workshop scatter terrain either. That stuff will be useful for Infinity as well (very useful).
It will be nice to set up a table for Infinity and not have to resort to any of my 40k terrain (or even ruins and rubble for that matter).
Damn, now I am trying to justify the $185 terrain add-on to replace the $95.

Yes. You get Enforcers, Marauders, Rebels and Plague. On top of this youc an have an extra one of one of those four, or your choice of Forge Fathers or Asterians.
Assuming you mean "where does it say you can add an additional booster", I think what Centurionpainting is referring to is the banner at the bottom of the image describing what Starter Sets you get with the Strike Team, which states, after listing the Enforcers, Plague, Rebs and Marauders, "Plus a fifth free faction starter of your choice".
Which, in response to Centurionpainting, would be a no, because it's specifically referring to a free starter, not a booster (different things). You can certainly add the Asterian Starter, though.

Outstanding, thanks for clearing that up! We get to ad the addition after the KS ends then?
I dont mind the pose or lack thereof... I just hope he either gets some pointer toenails or some boots added. As it stands I see no reason for him to not have boots... I'm assuming that's the civilian scientist? Looks like his suit could have a big bubble plastic helmet the way its shaped.
I'm really liking the scalability that's gone into Deadzone: - 2x2 to 6x4 or more - 1 player to 8 or more - Small unit counts to large - Ground level to the sky thanks to stackable, modular terrain - One game to many thanks to campaign rules
Getting multiple factions in strike team now that you can play solo is sitting well with me now too.
