Dangit, I was being so good. I was under $100! And then I looked at the Strike Team graphic. Now I'm at $198 with a crappy $2 off Strike Team EB and a pair of Faction Booster Sets for $50

My pledge was looking simple (if stupidly large) prior to them dropping that zombie bundle; unlike H.B.M.C I don't have tons of zombies of any stripe lying around. And with game modes specifically for them and such, 80 models for $45 is a pretty good deal.

Now back to the drawing board...

Ah, my apologies in that case. The Rebs commander looks a little that way but not especially so. I think most female models we find in the genre tend to be half-dressed or models or both. (see: Infinity, the models SS linked yesterday, etc)

Might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if the BOGOF/4-for-the-price-of-3 deals are applicable during the survey, or just right now before it ends?

I ask because while funds are tight now, in a couple months when they toss out the survey I can afford to chunk a lot more into it.

The only thing that they've said is KS-pledge-only is the $400/500 special resin characters. AFAIK.

They'll be available. It's only the assorted add on bonuses that are limited. EG The Plague and Rebel alt sculpts.

In saying that, the more money now for the kickstarter means more stretch goals and potentially more free stuff for everybody!

It's been moved to the top of the list as the "recommended" option, so it's above the cheaper ones now.

$876K means solo Zombie play is in, and it is marching towards $910K and the Forge Father Booster.




Tomorrow is shaping up well, as Mantic looks to join the Millionaire's Club on Kickstarter...

Hopefully they can, and we can get some nice goodies for getting up to the million-dollar club.

Still baffles me how Dwarven Forge gained $400,000 on their last day.

At this stage in the game, I'd be shocked if they didn't breech a mil.

I fear some of the goals are gonna be duds though post 1 mil as far as what they'll do to enhance "Deadzone" rather then warpath. My preference will be two more factions with a similar deal to the last two, as I know was being discussed by Mantic, but who knows.

We still need the 2 bonus terrain sprues for strike team don't we? Hopefully that'll be in the 900's. A flat upgrade to 2 battlezones basically I guess.

Anyone know what the deal is with the change to the acrylic counters? They lost 6 black and gained 16 orange. I was hoping they'd add activation counters in, not sure if this is it.

Maybe I missed it, but has there been any info on what the Secret Weapon board will be like? On the Secret Weapon KS there were multiple types shown. I imagine the 'clean streets' would seem likely, but it also could be a DZ specific tile set.

I was hoping for at least two different tiles. Twelve of the same one gets repetitive pretty quick.

Sigh, and I changed my mind again: I realized that with the Mercenaries and the big plague guy I wanted, it would end up costing only slightly over to get the regular striker. I'm definitely going to be offering up the Rebs and all the plague stuff except for the boss up for trade: would anyone have an interest in getting me the BOGOF of Enforcer $50 pack (I want two sets) and trading it for my Rebs and Plague (minus plague leader)? I'll even add in the zombies too.

I thought that the way it works is that you pledge your level and your amount, but you can add more to it later as you are not billed until the end of the KS, but you can add more when your survey is turned in. You can't choose anything else right now except for your pledge and an amount.

At least that seems to be SOP for KS.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, guys. I wouldn't want my misunderstanding to be someone elses' misunderstanding.

That doesn't make me any happier about the repetitiveness of the board. The problem is that the $60 for 4 is not nearly as good a deal as the $150 for 12, but that is a lot of the same tile over and over. I don't need that many man holes per capita on my streets.

I wish we had a firmer idea what the landing pad sprues consisted of. I mean it can't just be one sprue, so what is it?

Delux mat in the Strike Team pledge will do fine for me. Otherwise, I'll just do generic ground with buildings on it like I do for everything else.
