Just finished up a couple of commission pieces for a Chaos army I've been working on for a little while now.

The biker lord was converted by the client out of one of the chosen from the new starter set, while the Sorcerer simply had a hand swap.

I have to say I was really impressed with how well the bike conversion turned out. I think I may have to pinch aspects of that idea for my own mounted lord when the time comes. It worked out really well, and adds a lot of gravitas to what are usually pretty static, boring models.

Both mini's got some extra painting attention due to them being army centrepieces, so working time for each was around 8-10 hours.

Hope you guys like!

Those are AWESOME. The highlighting and freehand are spot on, you've got a awesome looking colour scheme... you've even blended green into purple... how???

Okay, the color scheme is a little to neon for me, but your technique is crazy good. Kudos on the good work!

All looks great to me, and the colour variation really does make the models stand out nicely.

Only issue i have is a very minor one, but the biker lord has purity seals on him
Just seems a bit odd lol.

Love the vibrant colours, not something you see too often on CSM.

Holy crap! These are great! I like the freehanding work on the front of the bike, and especially on the cloak!

I think they're impurity seals...

Precisely!

But I agree that it's perhaps not ideal. With their positioning on the model they'd have been a real pain in the ass to remove smoothly, while leaving the non-purity seal details intact or at least needing minor filling. Not impossible, but a lot more work than it was really worth, and it would have cut heavily into the painting budget.

Thanks for all your feedback guys! Much appreciated!
