NICE! Those infantry are great. I like the colors as they seem very convincing and realistic like they should. Great job Z!

I am not famous,
I am notorious.

I guess you could say that I am blessed,
That the angels sang at my birth
But I feel more like I'm cursed
A demon in a human shell
An being who lives in the dark
I shall banish away human
And grant them that which shall always elude me.

Everything is looking pretty good so far IdentifyZero. Could you take a few close up pics of the infantry and your conversion of the Flakmeister? I'm considering picking up some Dust minis to paint and the more I look at your stuff the more I lean towards buying some Axis stuff. The walking tanks are pretty appealing as well. How do the figures scale with GW's stuff?

Hey, sorry for the slow reply it's been a crazy week. Thanks for the compliment.

I will get some of those pics you requested this weekend, right now I will do a few pic of the flakmeister (when I finish adding stowage), some infantry pics (they will be done painting mostly tomorrow, just waiting on my afrika korps decals) and I can do some comparison pics vs a few GW figures if you like!

Cheers,

Zero

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates. I am still waiting on my Afrika Korps decals to finish the decals so I can begin weathering.

First up, some group shots of all my stuff so far!

Now some shots of walkers:

Thanks buddy, I started weathering them last night. I am hoping to see them almost done by the end of the weekend (The walkers anyways).

More updates!

April 25th, 2013

Report from the homeland: Axis Engineers have been hard at work outfitting old chassis with new technology. One of these marvels is a refit of the famous Tiger I tank with a VK Engine and higher caliber weaponry, in this case a double barrel turret. These units are currently being outfitted with new VK enriched tracks before being sent off to the 7th NDAK Experimental Korps. These vehicles are equipped for desert warfare with extra air filters and the addition of a VK engine nearly doubles the top speed of the Tiger from 45km/h to 70km/h. With a smaller engine block and no need for dangerous fuel tanks, the Tiger VK has been able to mount more powerful weaponry to allow it to engage armor, infantry or aircraft to a limited elevation.

Those all look great.

Do you glue the infantry and fill the gap with green stuff before you paint or are they all able to still turn?
I don't see any gaps at all but that could be because of the angles of the pictures.

Video Games, Board Games and Anime are the three pillars that make me who I am.

Hey, thanks a lot mate.

I take them apart but I put them back together so they are still able to move. I don't put any green stuff, but I do find prior to painting giving them a dunk in hot water and straightening out anything loose is good.
