Due to all of the great feedback, we postponed the release of Sovereignty of Terra to make a few upgrades and changes. We added 28mm scale building sections and terrain plates! The game will now include a minimum of 40 miniatures, 16 building sections and 4 terrain plates!
We have kickstarter goals to increase the number of items in the starter box!!
We also have some great stretch goals!
Be one of the first to check it out and save with our early bird launch specials!!

Here are some close up pictures.
As always please leave reply's we are listening.

A lot of group images, but the models (renders) don't look too detailed from what I can see.

Yea renders dont exactly do it for me. Hopefully some physical stuff would be shown. Some of the other things look very rough too, like the box art. Looks really basic/bland, font doesnt pop out at all. A run of the mill graphics designer would be beneficial But I must say those minis do seem inexpensive. Are they mutiplart? What material?? Not sure how well this will do, THON started out amazing with detailed minis but flopped at the end. Also, wooo more space germans. Another to add to the growing list

I understand they're supposed to be robots, but those Cyberkrons have unattractively static poses.
Also, why are there no closeups of the models?

The starter box set includes:
Pocket rule book!
16 Building sections!
5 Ten sided dice!
1 Four sided die
20 SturmPolizist! (Infantry)!
5 Kreigszyklus with rider!
15 Cyberkron Raiders!
4 12" X 12" terrian tiles!
Bases for all the miniatures included!
Apparently, the d4 isn't as exciting as the rest of the contents.
The kickstarter mentions that some of the miniatures have been prototyped. Why no pics? Pics of physical minis are always going to go down better than renders... Unless, of course, the printing process killed the detail. Which is exactly why people are nervous of buying based on renders.

I must admit with the amount of stuff you get I'm afraid of the (old) WGF syndrome of "Inexpensive=bad quality"
I mean 40 models for $35 is really friggin cheap for sci fi minis

I like it still. I really do. I love futuristic motorcycles, and the price of $2.33 each is great. The steering mechanism is still questionable, but futuretech or whatever.

I listed my issues with the bike design in the previous thread, so won't repeat them here. But the detail on the printed model looks very soft.

Is there detail on that? I can't tell, those pictures are terrible and don't show the model off or in a good light. May I suggest an actual light box? Even if it's one of those home made half gallon milk jug ones, it would probably give a better image.

Must agree with above posts
This is almost the exact opposite of THON, or even GoA. GoA had some pretty good pictures at the end at least
Its not like you need a very expensive photo equipment either. Some of the best pics I've seen on Dakka were taken with your basic Digital Camera
Hopefully you arent getting discourage by all of this. Trying to be helpful here. The wargaming community can be very finicky about this stuff (unless you're an oldie historical player. They tend to be fine with minimal pics for some reason)

To address a few concerns,
The miniatures pictured are prototypes used to verify scale of game pieces as well as testing of game play rules.
The game pieces will be produced from injected molded PVC.
Taking advantage of some of the latest technology has allowed us to reduce costs and offer our miniatures at a consumer friendly price.
We have done this by removing the need for a master model and taking a “direct to production” approach of manufacturing.
Production miniatures will be molded from dies being C.N.C milled directly from the 3d model file. The advantage of this process is a highly accurate representation down to +/-0.005mm tolerance of the 3d imagines on final production.

Hmmm this KS seems to be lacking the early pledger push most KS tend to have.
I can see why though.
And Kicktraq's data does not make this look pretty at all

So are the close up renders you have shown the final version as will be cut to the mould?

For example the sniper shown here, which you here at Dakka Dakka are the first to see, will be quality controlled for any slight errors or blemishes, the program file will be directly imported to the CNC mill. We will then do a test run of the die and inspect the miniatures and structures for quality and accuracy. At that time any adjustments to the dies will be made and the process repeated until the models being produced are of exacting tolerances and quality.

um yeah... I really try to be positive about kickstarters.. but those models look... bad.
Building - Doesn't look believable at all.
Terminator thing - Um... what is that supposed to be?
Scuba Guy thing - Holy mismatched proportions batman
The bike and rider - Um, that just doesn't look natural or functional
The Sniper - wtf is with the pose? he looks like he just twisted his left ankle while dropping his rifle. That isn't a natural pose in the slightest let alone how the heck a guy with a biker helmet is going to fire with that scope.
When this fails I would highly suggest going back the the drawing board on your art design. Proportion and poses all need a LOT of work. The guns look decent, but that is about it.
Note: Sorry if that came off harsh, but reality needs to be set out there.

Maybe its me but helmet almost looks like Sedition Wars. But cant tell too well I suppose, weird angle and kind of dark. Yes I admit there are only so many ways to do a large visor helmet And I agree with the above. When I think of snipers, thats usually a pose I dont think about

I'm still a little confused as to whether or not the models shown are finished.
Some details, like helmets, look fine, but there are obvious polygons still on areas like arms and legs and weapons.
There's also a few fiddly little details, like the weave pattern on the chests, that seems unlikely to survive the casting process. The wobbly pattern on the leg armour is also likely to give you some troubles with moulding.
There is just too much conflicting detail on these guys. I think you would be far better off simplifying the designs. Strip the patterning back and just give them smooth armour plates, and play with the proportions a little to make them look a little more human.

In responds to the building structures:
We based the building structures off of a brick and stucco design. We admit structures of this kind are some what plain. The advantage of this it that we can offer a higher volume of game pieces at gamer friendly prices.
A Cyberkron
Mismatched proportions? The proportions are based off of actual military soldiers wearing body armor.
BlueDagger wrote:
The bike and rider - Um, that just doesn't look natural or functional
The stance of the rider is classic motorcycle drag race form.
The spoiler is the technical notes of the mechanical designer of the bike. As a side note, she is will to build you a full size operational version of the bike minus the mini gun for a estimated cost of 75k.
BlueDagger wrote:

The sniper stance is taken directly from motion capture of a military sniper running and falling into a prone position.
The imagine in the scope is viewed via H.U.D in the soldiers visor
This technology is currently in use by the worlds military forces.

Two things there:
1 - It's really not. Drag bikes usually allow the rider to bend his arms, as with them oustretched like that he would have almost no control over the bike's steering.
And 2- you don't tend to see a lot of drag bikes on the battlefield...
