Two things there:
1 - It's really not. Drag bikes usually allow the rider to bend his arms, as with them oustretched like that he would have almost no control over the bike's steering.

And 2- you don't tend to see a lot of drag bikes on the battlefield...

In responds to your second statement:
As far as drag bike used in a combat scenario that would just be absurd, however an armored fast attack cycle may be of some use against an army of robotic warriors from an alternate dimension. I could be wrong but then again it is fantasy!

Heres are two more riders:

Bent Elbows, and Bent Knees.

But yes, it does appear there are some Drag Bikers that ride without bending either...

The 'it's fantasy' line only goes so far. Unless they're only fighting on immaculate paved roads, the drag bike makes no sense, regardless of how fantastical your setting is.

Building - Doesn't look believable at all.

In responds to the building structures:
We based the building structures off of a brick and stucco design. We admit structures of this kind are some what plain. The advantage of this it that we can offer a higher volume of game pieces at gamer friendly prices.

Sadly they end up look like everyone's first attempt at home made 40k ruins from styrofoam.

 BlueDagger wrote:

Terminator thing - Um... what is that supposed to be?

A Cyberkron

Cyberkron? really? You do realize that anyone that knows 40k at all will immediately consider that a bad 40k Necron ripoff.

 BlueDagger wrote:

Scuba Guy thing - Holy mismatched proportions batman

Mismatched proportions? The proportions are based off of actual military soldiers wearing body armor.

From the looks of the pic the guy has the chest of The Rock and twig arms. Being a former solder I know that chest armor bulks you, but you may want to tone it down a few notches and widen the arms and wrists a bit.

 BlueDagger wrote:

The bike and rider - Um, that just doesn't look natural or functional

The stance of the rider is classic motorcycle drag race form.
The spoiler is the technical notes of the mechanical designer of the bike. As a side note, she is will to build you a full size operational version of the bike minus the mini gun for a estimated cost of 75k.

I have no real issue with the bike it's self outside of the fact that it doesn't look combat worth at all. It looks real fast... with zero maneuverability. Looks like a super stretched drag pose once again pointing to the zero maneuverability.

 BlueDagger wrote:

The Sniper - wtf is with the pose? he looks like he just twisted his left ankle while dropping his rifle. That isn't a natural pose in the slightest let alone how the heck a guy with a biker helmet is going to fire with that scope.

The sniper stance is taken directly from motion capture of a military sniper running and falling into a prone position.
The imagine in the scope is viewed via H.U.D in the soldiers visor
This technology is currently in use by the worlds military forces.

That would explain why he looks like he is falling. While that may be what you were going for, it's a terrible pose. Aiming while standing, moving to a new position with rifle at the ready, prone prepping, prone aiming, etc would all look a LOT better. You're mixing high tech armor with visually low tech sighting mechnism so it looks "off" with the biker helmet. If you are going for an HUD based future tech weapon you would be better off futurising the scope or making it underslug under the barrel.

Sorry for being so negative.

I actually quite like the sniper pose. It doesn't look "dangerous", but it does look dynamic and realistic and not like the same "I'm doing target practice" pose we see all the time.

Real snipers are probably prone 95% of the time, but that doesn't translate very well into game pieces, so realism is thrown out the window for aesthetics. Like tracked pipe organs covered in candles, etc...

Anyways, the negativity in the posts is ok. No one is being mean, yet. People are pointing out things in the models that make them not want to buy them. And since the OP is trying to sell $40k worth of models, that's good feedback.

Well its been a week since someone last commented

With 6 backers at a total of $700, looks like this is one dead KS. The trending (which is of course generous) says this might get $1800

The bike looks good, but not really combat oriented. And also the legs back pose is drag style, but only during takeoffs. Swinging your legs forward during initial moments can unbalance the bike. Its not a pose you keep.

And just because something might be based off real life....minis are based off real life but still have artistic license for aesthetics.

There is a word for a wargamer with an empty paint bench.

Dead.

Yeah, this looked bad. Like, really bad.

You may want to hire a visual designer of some kind in the future, the graphics for the pledge images, and well, pretty much everything else, are dire. It looks like they were knocked together on Microsoft Paint.

Uggh, just noticed the close up pics in the OP, I could make a better building in sketch-up given a few hours and that trooper looks like he could do with loosing a few pounds...

I think my biggest gripe is the pose of the bad guy robot dude.

Side pose with the gun positioned the way it is... looks a bit too phallic for my taste. Too static looking. I think it needs a bit more dynamicism.

Not a big fan of the bikes either.

I'd like to see things polished up a bit on the soldiers.

For whatever reason I've always got a kick out of the concept of these figures. They remind me of the figures I used to get at the super market when I was a kid. Not the crappy bags of plastic soldiers mind you. They used to have these boxed diorama WW2 sets with some kind of armored vehicle, a few footsoldiers and a pile of debris/ scenery. I think we might still have some of the sandbags and ruined walls. They want to give me a big box of soldiers and bad guys I'll go to town on it with my kids if the price is right.

I definitely can't knock the creator for his enthusiasm. I hope he's able to get some constructive feedback on his figures and try again in the future.
Maybe the next time a little less ambitious.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
