can my sw benefit from my allies markerligth

"Listen closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."Leman Russ

No space wolves cannot benefit from markerligth, nor can they benefit from anything else that doesn't state it interacts.

From what I remember, it says in the Tau FAQ that Only models from the Tau Codex can benefit from markerligths.

IIRC, only Tau (not Kroot or Vespids, unless they have a Strain Leader) can benefit from MLs. However, with a new codex on the way...

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Is it just me, or did everyone in this thread spell markerlight wrong?

Well apart from me who used ML as an abbreviation, and you..everyone else spelled markerlight markerligth.

You gotta make sure that when you're dealing with a space wolf player, you say things different, in this case, markerligth.

OP's avatar explains why nicely.

Any rule leaks for the new markerligths? I'm hoping they can remove cover like they used to, but i'd like to see them made an assault weapon because heavy markerlights were annoying on FWs, you couldn't even throw a marker drone in there and move and fire a markerligth, because they count as the same unit type you bought it for, and Infantry don't have relentless

You could move the FWs and not move the drone, allowing it to fire.

But I was talking in the context of escaping from incoming models, it can still be done by placing the drone at the back, but if you need to mive the unit then it creatss a problem.
