It's funny actually; in one of the April Fools threads, MajorTom said the following, quoted from his response: "Put a little effort in or it's just spam. Locked. " I put forth a well thought out, elaborate Black Templar rumor and it was quickly locked because a bunch of people decided not to have fun with it. I put forth a bunch of reasonable sounding rumors, and mentioned that I ran into Tom Kirby while visiting family, throwing legitimate locations out if people wanted to check in on them and check out whether I was making it up or not. The only made up part was actually the Tom Kirby stuff. I was actually in Lake George, went to Gore Mountain, and grabbed beer at the Adirondack Brew Pub. So even though they said April Fools was okay with effort, the MODs went on a locking spree for anything. Now, I don't know which MOD locked my page. In fact, I think it may have been locked due to a couple immature posts put into it. I felt flattered that one poster even questioned whether it was real or not. Some people just took it poorly and obviously don't have a sense of humor-at least I don't have to worry about one of the humorless posters adding me to the rumor tracking thread.


To be honest, your post didn't match the "requirements" of showing effort-it was a quick blurb with a link to a spam picture. I felt mine was full of effort, but apparently it wasn't good enough either to stand up. Perhaps our lords and masters sat in too much fake vomit yesterday.

Where are these April Fools threads? I didn't see any.

Uh... I gotta tell ya. Having read the responses to this thread, I think you guys take your humor a little too seriously.
