Well I've made a start towards Infinity. I've purchased and painted my first model and quite enjoyed it, they are very different to painting 40k minis thats for sure.

So my first force is going to be PanOceania, the reason for the post is my young lady below needs some friends, I've downloaded the rule book but I want two fully playable starting forces (painted) before I start learning, the painting side is more important to me than the game as its what I spend most of my spare time doing.

I've looked on the Infinity site and dont really like the PanO starter set, the Fusilier minis don't really do it for me. So looking at box sets with a similar number of miniatures can she be used with the Military Orders or Shock Army of Acontecimento figures both rules wise and fluff wise?

Unfortunately there isn't a starter box for Neoterran which the the Hexa's sectorial. You can do the Acontecimento start which you will only waste one Acontecimento regular if you use just a basic Pan'o list rules (vanilla pan'o only gets AVA 2 of regulars).

Or buy the Acontecimento starter and proxy the regulars as fusiliers in a generic list?

That's a pretty common thing to do? Not sure about Pan O, I know I use the Dhalami you get in the Haqq Hassassin Bahram box as just regular Ghulams.

For non- ITS tournament play proxying should be zero issue. I just like regular better because they have cool options
