It's gonna be a long wait to get those urban streets.

And if anyone's interested, I've made a bazillion more layouts showing off what a hypothetical corner tile would allow you to achieve.

A corner tile should be the VERY top thing on their "to add" list. I know they have said they will be, but it would just open up the possibilities so much more. So it should be (imo) the very first thing in the queue to be done after the main tiles...

Not that I'm after road tiles but if I WERE, I'd certainly feel that way! I'm just happy I won't have to stress down to the wire about the ruined temple

The latest update:

We've done it! The "Ruined Temple" theme is unlocked and fully funded -- giving us two sci-fi themes, and two fantasy themes, as we work our way through the final hours of the campaign.

And we're not finished! The "Trench Works" Display Board is the next to unlock -- giving you four raised tiles of WW1 inspired trench goodness!

What an incredible run we've had today - I can't wait to see what happens next!

Don't worry, I'm sure the 90 Degree turn will be one of the first (if not the first) expansion tile done for the streets.

I hope we get there! I have an EB Skirmisher; pledged early to show support, and what I am most interested in was Temple, Trenches, and Desert. So I need to have a think over the next two hours and keep watch as to whether we'll get Trenches now or not. At worst I can always wait and buy at retail.

Yes; the point of the Kickstarter is to cover costs so that these can be added to the Secret Weapon regular retail stock.

300K! Trench display board is possible, would let folks add a few trench tiles to other tables

I've pledged for a 6x4, but couldn't fine where to specify which theme I wanted, does that happen after the campaign ends?

Yes, you specify theme in the pledge manage at the end.

I managed to nab one of the "early bird" Wargamer slots that opened up. Nice price on a per tile basis.

Yes, there will be a pledge manager to handle that later.

80 minutes to go, 13K needed to get to the trench display board! It's going to be close! Secret Weapon previously posted that they might make up the difference if we get "close" to a goal, so I think the trench display board will make it in. Should be an exciting final hour

Looks like we'll end shy of the trench display board, barring a last minute surge. Too many folks taking their Moms out for lunch on Mother's Day in the US, I guess

I know, right?

I note that Secret Weapon is going to the Nova Open in September, if he has prototype product by then, it'd be great to see it in person.

What's the eta on the streets tiles? Or did they not give one?

Scrapyard is likely going to be October, with a 2 month gap between sets.. So likely December for the streets, Feb for the Fields, and April for the Temple.

Oh man, I freaking love the title of that last KS update.

Totally made my day.

Sceptic-turned-fanboi right here, overall.

Wasn't convinced on price, was convinced by the sheer attention to detail and craftsmanship that went into this, as well as the extreme efforts to keep all the backers as happy as possible with everything... it reminded me a lot of the dreamforge kickstarter in terms of being artist-driven by someone who just plain gives the impression that they *really* know what they're doing at every point.

It was also a KS that had much more realistic expectations. Justin was up-front about his costs and he didn't make promises he couldn't keep.

Yep. This is what swung it for me. Plus it wasn't just a over blown pre-order system. It was actually to get a product properly manufactured and released by someone that is taking great care over everything.
