Yep. This is what swung it for me. Plus it wasn't just a over blown pre-order system. It was actually to get a product properly manufactured and released by someone that is taking great care over everything.

Yep. It reminds me, in some ways, of the DFG Kickstarter, and I have confident expectation of similar quality. In fact, I look forward to fighting over city street tiles with my Eisenkern.

Yes. Me too. Although I worry that 4' X 4' might be too small to field a Crusader on. At those ranges, the clash would probably be over as soon as someone drew on bead on it with an AT gun.

Much as it sucked to pare down my pledge a couple of times due to current expenses, I still managed a mini-wargamer from this. I reckon I'll still be working on painting up Eisenkern by the time I get them, so I'll just add the streets to the "Eisenkern" slot in my paint queue.

I am excited for the ruined temple tiles. Looks perfect for dungeon crawling. Now I can have large 12x12 chambers connected by my dwarven forge cooridors.

May be nice to have a full circle of the ampetheater for a arena.

I only got a little bit now, but when these hit retail, I will probably look into specific tiles.

If it had pulled down the trenches I'd be dumping quite a bit more into this. So maybe it's a good thing. As it is I dropped down to a display board that I'll probably grab either the rolling fields or temple for. Glad this was so successful.

Estimated shipping dates and each theme will ship separately so if you choose ruined temple and urban streets for example you will get Urban Streets first then Ruined Temple separately later you won't have to wait for both the be finished,

Creator Secret Weapon 10 minutes ago

Current shipping targets are:

October - Scrap Yard
December - Urban Streets
February - Rolling Fields
April - Ruined Temple

There's room for improvement here too as "Rolling Fields" only has 8 unique tiles, and all of the designs are finished for "Scrap Yard." We're going to be working as quickly as we can, of course....

Probably be a new KS for Trenches and Lost Desert plus more themes after Ruined Temple ships.

Agreed!

Can it be October already?
I can't wait for December. This is gonna make a sick as birthday present. It's gonna be a tough 7 month wait but i imagine it will be well worth it. As an aside, i went to bed when this was at 291k with around 3.5 hours left on the clock. I wake up to find it has raised another 20k in less then 4 hours. A fair effort by the last minute fence sitters i think.

Mathieu Raymond wrote:It was also a KS that had much more realistic expectations. Justin was up-front about his costs and he didn't make promises he couldn't keep.
This is what sold me not on the KS but on MrJustin himself. He came off as a really fair dinkum kinda bloke. None of this promising you everything under the sun malarki. He told us what he could do and how much he needed to do it with no flimflamming.

Not only that but he partnered with various stores across the world early on to reduce the burden of shipping costs on everyone. That was great forward thinking.

Yeah nah like really? Is it December yet? I'm dying here without my shiney new battle board.

It's a strange feeling having payed out $190 and yet having nothing to show for it. And yes, Congratz on the whole project Justin.

I hope I get my bases before the board, as they are unrelated.

When do I get mah Brushfire rules? Need something to tide me over until Rolling Fields ships.

Is the lead time for production really that long? I thought Scrapyard was already waiting to have molds cut and begin production right away.

At any rate, I'm proud to have been involved in this, and cannot wait to get my table up and running so that the wife and I can begin a nice Blighted Isle campaign on a nice presentable table.

Sending him the Coupon to send out tomorrow morning.

IIRC, Scrapyard is almost ready to goto the molding process, just a few tweaks/fixes need to be done since the prototype tile.

The dates could also be Scotty'd... "Tell them three times as long as you think it will take, so that when you finish it in half the time they think your a miracle worker!"

So, I should get my Urban Streets around the same time my Sedition Wars and Kings of War wave two become available?

I know I Scotty'd our shipdate for EFT, but its looking like its going to end up being pretty close anyway. :/

I sent Justin the info to pass onto backers for redeeming Brushfire, so the lot of you will get some rules soon. They'll likely be updated again on Monday or Tuesday as well (as its powered by WGV you'll get free updates forever)

I believe the pledge calculator included separate shipping for bases, etc, as they are shipping as soon as he receives orders for them.

I'm just picking up a small sampling of one style, so I can decide if I want to use them for my DKoK, when their turn comes in the paint queue.

I went in for a display board in the end, which was all I could afford at the time. I'll be upgrading it to city streets (maybe both types at 6x4ea) when the PM comes out.

Surveys always come some time after the kickstarter ended, when the folks have all things sorted out (and are sober again .
For example, Kensei is not yet able to react to emails or PMs 5 days after the indiegogo campaign ended.

Yeah, but that might just be the syndrome called Europe. France has a bad case of it.

When we get the survey will it be an email or a pm through the KS website?

What has Europe to do with this? Most KS's americans, european we have seen are flexible towards timings after KS has ended.

Maybe its a syndrome of who backs KS's in general called "lack of patience".

I sometimes wonder what the French-Canadian (Quebecois?) national identity is like. All I know, I learned from watching the WWF/WWE through the years.

The initial survey will be via Kickstarter, and will be fairly basic. The pledge manager will then goto your e-mail.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I never watched WWF or E. But if you're willing to give it a try, I'd be gald to put you up for a week! And yes, the accepted modern term is Quebecois.
