Is it possible to let only people mutually listed as friends see each others previous posts.
Because I don't feel comfortable knowing anybody can see all the posts ive ever made.

No...

That'd defeat the purpose of a public forum I'm afraid. If you don't want people to see what you are saying for whatever reason then you can message or email someone privately.

Think of a forum as a house party. Anyone can walk in and out of whatever conversation they please. They can stand and listen or join in. If they join in, those in the conversation will undoubtably hear them and anyone else can walk in and listen too.

Also, if only people who are mutually friended with you can see your posts then there would be no point in taking part or starting a conversation as the chances of someone reading what you've said are tiny.

I hope I've explained that clearly enough. Enjoy the wonders of Dakka!

If you wanted private conversations, why would you use a public forum? Surely that'd be for PMs, a private email group like on google or yahoo, or maybe your own personal forum.

Besides, it's goddam hilarious to look back on some threads. You wouldn't want to spoil my fun now, would you?

If you don't want a.discussion to be public, either PM those involved or become a DCM and most of us can't see it.

Even behind the North Wall, we DCMs bend knee to no one... but we do have a modicum of decency We're not allowed, and we don't talk about non DCMs, since you can't reply back and we'd just be starting drama

We call them the Others... they're noted by their tags... [MOD] >_>

Though we do serve the King Beyond the Wall... Yakface... They say he was trampled as a child by wild Yak, and in the terrible pain, he rose up and stabbed the beast right under the chin. Pulling it's teef out, he fashioned a necklace. The rest of his village referred to him as such from then on. He watches, waiting, gathering his forces before we can march south below the wall, through the lands of Dakka-ros, and besiege the kingdom of War-seer.
