Subject: What do you listen to when you are taking care of your little plastic men?
Movies I've seen a billion times: Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, Silent Hill, Terror of Mechagodzilla, Avengers, Heat, etc.
Writing Excuses podcast.
Rob Zombie, 10 years, Zeppelin.
Top Gear on Netflix.
Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

Mostly Japanese music, sometimes this "learn Japanese" CD I got here, but J-Metal just makes painting fun for me :3

I've been working my way through episodes of QI. But I have to keep stopping painting as I'm shaking to much from laughing!
I've also had on you tube videos from Steve Shives or Stuff from Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris etc.
Two steps from hell makes for some great background music for D&D. epic stuff.
When painting or modeling I either put on documentaries or listen to the Avett Brothers.
I find it odd how many other people watch documentaries while doing this. I really thought it was weird for me to do it bu apparently it's very common.
Funny enough, I very recently started listening to historical documentaries as well. It works perfectly, I'm focused on the painting / modeling and at the same time I'm improving my knowledge.
It's a near perfect win / win situation if you ask me.

Video game based music ex: Einhander "Factory" or "Shudder" (old awesome PS1 game), C&C and all sorts.
good one I found is a cinematic trailer for World of Tanks, Whats better for an IG armor heavy commander?
plus the tagline of "endless war, rivers of steel, sea of FIRE" just plain sounds like something straight form 40k.
South Park episodes. (OH MAH GORK!! DEY CRUMPED KENNA!! )
metal, rock, all sorts. whatever I am in the mood for. Sabaton is often playing. 2 steps from hell (heavily agree, its very good)
Gets me in the zone, gets the Imagination rolling like the armored war machines I build.

Anything from Fall Out Boy to classical to Death Cab for Cutie. I especially like Vivaldi's Four Seasons though. Some of the World of Warcraft soundtracks are great too; I think that's the best part about that game.
