So all these GW-bashing threads we've been seeing lately have really made me see the usefulness of having a section of the forum dedicated to Games Workshop discussion. Although there's been a surge in these threads lately, there's always some kind of GW Discussion going on in Dakka Discussions.
Having a GW Discussion Section would make it easier to get your opinion on GW across and it'll leave the Dakka Discussions section open to "nicer" elements of the hobby. Dakka Discussions is one of, if not the, thread that sees the most traffic and probably one of the ones that people enjoy frequenting the most. However, not everyone wants to see thread after thread complaining about GW. It's almost a pain at the moment scrolling down to find anything else. With this change, anyone who does want to see GW thread after GW thread can go to the GW Discussion Section. Besides, seeing as GW is such an important aspect of the hobby, I think we'd all really benefit from such a section, even if we didn't want to have a go at them continuously.

I wouldn't mind that section existing, imo. It'd separate those moaning threads from all the fun/happy ones we want to see.
And whenever we feel the need to moan about GW (as us Brits love so much), we can dump it all there for like-minded people to discuss with.

The main difference being you can't loot for .pdfs on dakka and Dakka actually having moderation.

/tg/ has a mod/s. You just don't see him/them. The mods on 4chan tend to work silently, banning and deleting without fanfare, unless of course your demise would be funny to see in which case then they very publicly execute you for the amusement of all.
You are right about the looting though.
