Subject: Justin Bieber leaves a stupid message at the Anne Frank museum
I don't really care for him, or his music, but this seems like another incident in a long line of stupid things he's said/done; his comments about rape, strops because someone threw a bottle of water at him, saying he'd never return to the Uk, demanding that pictures of him be removed from the interwebs.
He's just living in a self obsessed world and he's starting to believe the marketing.
I do think that the museum handled it very well though.

So, the news is...he's an idiot? Self absorbed? Egotistical? Sounds like most 19 year olds, really. Still, a dumb move. But expected, at that age. He just gets more crap cuz he's a celebrity. And no, I'm not defending his actions: still think he's a 'tard. But the world makes too big a deal of his 'tardness.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Ah! Well, if its good enough for Denis Rodman it should be good enough for Bieber. Maybe if Kim Jung Un was a Belieber he wouldn't be threatening nuclear war.... or failing that he could kill Bieber and we'd have a herd of teenage girls descending on the country to bring him down

This is what happens when no one is there to give guidance on what is appropriate behavior. He has too many yes-men surrounding him and no one knocking him off his pedestal when he acts inappropriately.
I'm back!

Seems like his European tour isn't going well. Didn't he go to the hospital at one point, then yell at photographers and have to be retrained by a yes-man from going after them, and also do a no-show at another concert, and then get his hair lit on fire while shooting a Pepsi Commercial, then die from an OD on general anesthesia administered by his personal physician?
I think the last two might have been someone else, though...

It is also being assumed the hypothetical guest book entry is authentic, which is more than a bit comical given that Justin Bieber has been the target of several false accusations, and a great deal of internet ire.
Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

I heard about this earlier and didn't think it was as bad as everybody was making out. This was a guy, who didn't know what German meant a few years ago.
I think he is just an idiot, but he was trying to be nice in his own stupid way.
Cute, but look at the eyes. That pig is plotting something and I'm afraid of what it could be. Clearly the boots are the first part of the grand scheme that it is concocting.

Am I the only one who found this funny? Then again maybe I just like cringe comedy or inappropriate comments too much (I like seeing people embarrass themselves or make things awkward), also people say stupid, ignorant or tasteless things all the time (I do it at least once a day)
this is not something to fret about and sometimes it's just a slip of the tongue, a joke gone wrong, lack of knowledge, etc.

Wow. That's as good as Jessica Simpson's "So, is tuna a fish or chicken" line...

I watched it and I kept hearing the interviewer ask, "... is German for basketball." I was like, huh? Is what German for basketball? Wait, does he mean Bieber's name? It was a silly, out of nowhere question asked in a confusing manner so I'm going to cut Bieber some slack on that interview. If it were me, I'd ask the interviewer, "Uh, don't you guys have Google in this country?"

I once listened to one of his songs and it felt like I had been locked in an attic for years with angry Germans wanting to throw me into a death camp looking for me having killed many people I knew and love, so I can see what he was thinking...

Well, it kind of is. Maybe some of those beliebers will look at Anne Frank's story now that Justin has gone by. It's nice when celebrities take notice of serious things like this. Read in a charitable light, it's not necessarily that he was boiling down Anne Frank's value to whether or not she would be a fan of his ... like Albatross mentioned, if she was a teenage girl alive today, she probably would be a belieber. And like Albatross said, that doesn't make it less silly of him to right but I think it at least shows there's no malice there.
In his weird world of being a 19-y.o. superstar, he looked at a story of a murdered teenage girl and thought of her like he thinks of most teenage girls: you know, this girl could have had a life like most teenage girls (i.e., beliebers) but she got murdered instead.
Yeah, he's not too deep but you can see the thought process there.
