But cables are easy, roll a really long, thin, sausage of your chosen two-part epoxy putty, attach one end to where it should be and drape along surfaces / attachment points until you reach the other end. Let gravity do the hard work for you in giving a natural hanging cable look (Shh Nerdfest )...

Okay so the bad (if it could be considered that) no instruction, or picture, but I have them saved under my gallery for reference.
Slight flash, but easily cleaned, did one whole model in less than five minutes.
The leg attachment point is my only concern. It looks like the tab on the foot is right where it should join the ankle, Paulson do I remove that tab, it's in a very bad spot if its to come off?

The flash cam off with a quick flip of a knife blade turned backwards.

And it arrived before my birthday.

Looked at the pics a second time and realized do not cut the tab off the leg, good thing I hadn't yet.
The quality is fantastic, easily on par with the dreamforge figures I have.
Far exceeds all the ogre world figures I have for comparison.
Glued he legs to the feet for stability, here's a size comparison next to a dreadnaught and marine.

It's for a 15mm miniature game he has developed, this is the light mecha on a 60mm base. If it wasn't so sleek I'd use it as my dreadnoughts.

No, not for the iron warriors, way to sleek. These will be totally different. I need o download the beta rules before the kickstarter comes up. He has another light mecha designed, waiting for print to come back for him to begin casting those. The largest mecha will have four legs (easy dave ) and sit on a 120mm base. He is hoping to keep the big one under $100.

Yep, got scared out by the fireworks , I have told my kids all their lives that they shoot fireworks off on the forth of July to remind them to get to wrapping my gifts, I'm afraid they actually believe that's the reason and no independence day . Hopefully inspiration is just coming with age and not about to depart tomorrow. Had an idea this morning, partly out of a need for air power, and partly due to klaus , I can never get to his level of scratch building, but I am okay at stealing ideas and twisting them to my own minds will.

So I give you part predator drone, part warthog, and part avengers quinjet.....the Tempest Chicken , eat that GW.

Landing gear, needs talons. Yes I like the sentinel legs.

VTOL mode with legs up.

Flight mode with legs up. Landspeeders at base to show size.

And armed with wing missiles and heavy flamer.


I could use it as a landspeeders, stormtalon, or storm raven (might not be able to carry a dreadnaught, although it could pick it up with the talons just thought of that while typing, but I could attach little eggs under the tail section that drop and hatch my servo skulls , the pilot is a servo skull also, but will be behind a painted windshield).

Could do with making the leading edges of the wings a little more rounded. but overall shape is good.

I'm not comfortable with carving plastic like you, and want to keep the boxy feel of the imperium. I will be doing more later, but back to 1:1 scale painting this morning.

You could add GS, rather than carving the plastic away... or, Sprue use #1566; add a length to the leading edge with the long, bottom edge of the trapezoid to the surface. That retains the squared off aesthetic of the Imperium and adds a little aerodynamics to the wings. (Although, sprue is probably too thin for this).

But it's up to you. First thing I'll do to some of the flyer models is make them more aerodynamic, but that's me...

So other than that, I like the concept.

Here's some more angles.
Bottom, egg carton will go on the white section that goes back to the tail.

Top, need to make the intakes on the jets, thinking of using the mesh like I did on the tunnel entrances.

Edit: I know the tail fins look ginormous, but that way it fits GW style

and looking at it, you know what it reminded me of? The flying hunter-killers out of The Terminator. There are differences, but similar shape.

Thanks Dr. H, I have one of the toy hunter killers that I cut up for parts. It also with the wingtip missiles reminds me of the osprey from the beginning of the transformers movie.

Yeah. I love Ospreys and is one of the few aircraft that I haven't made a model of... Methinks The Scientist will have to get one at some point.

as for the tempest chicken... lovley!!!!! the VTOL engine looks awesome! and even tho i would love to see the wings switched i still like that look.... are these parts again from a droppod?... and indeed... who doesn´t like sentinel legs?...
