really? I recently found a guy at ebay here for my own PC needs that sells small and thin rods he makes on his own...maybe there is an option for American buyers at your ebay too?

The second pic shows a pretty bare side. I still have to come up with a light for that side. Thethunderhammer is replaced on the first pic with a "sonic stunner" has same effect as a thunder hammer, rendering opponents incapable of retaliation, and can be adjusted to affect vehicles and buildings with devastating results

@Vik- I'm sure there are other options,GF9 resells shapes in their bags, MicroMark sells another brand of embossed sheet, but Evergreeen and Plastruct have the distribution network to most train/hobby shops in the US Via Midwest Products. Plastruct has their own network since they are so specialized. The model railroaders keep the demand up.

@nerdfest, just winging it dude. Thanks for the compliment, I love guitarasmus work. I haven't played a game of 40k in over a decade. I used to enjoy it, but my gaming group all moved,got married, and disappeared into witness relocation years ago. I've gone to the local shops to try and break into a new group but I hate hearing every few seconds, and can't even take my kids in there. When I worked at two different game stores and a hobby shop that sold games years and years ago swearing was not allowed. You had to come up with better words. That's why I'm only doing bloodbowl now with my brother in law. He has a few friends that play axis and allies that I just haven't been able to schedule time to get together with. But right now I'm just enjoying the build process.

All termis hanging out, decided to remove the motor part on the other termis, they will get lights similar to these two later.they were looking too top heavy even for GW standards.


I see Logan driving up next to the culprit and just spinning around in circles leaving a bloody mess. I guess with the right motive devices he could just pinch together the claws and remove a car door like a rolling undead jaws of life .

Liking the assault teminator skulls. Thunder-probe and riot-storm shield is my favourite so far.

In other news, Jazzed that they remade a cleaned up art wise Space Battleship Yamato, 2199, characters are more up to dater, CGI assists make for more fluid space battles, and they seem to have gone more in depth about the Galaxy in the new revised Universe.

Mowed lawn and realized what was bothering me about the bikes. The center being round was making any build too difficult so I boxed it, and shortened the center and came up with this prototype

With a few added details, that could easily work as a nice bike.

I think that a couple of metal plates on the side of the rear wheel with symbols or mekky bits could look good

hmmmm.... the logan idea i see and understand but don´t feel it...i think the claws are too spaced out...

but what i really like is the storm shoild with pistons... that really says get outa my way!!!

and while the bike now looks like a bike... it still lacks a certain thing, without a seat it is a bit weird looking... of course a servo skull doesn´t need any seats as he is one with the bike frame... but, well, you know what i´m talkin´about

We went out for Mexican food, had Chimichanga De La Casa and a big Dos Equis in a frosty mug...mmmmmm

i think the only mexican beer that tastes good is negro mordello but to each his own i guesss hope the chimichanga was good at least.

Well, I don't know the first thing about wines, but I can usually pick the best type of beer for any meal, at least to my palette anyways Honestly though, as I get older, all alcohol does is make me sleepy.

I've not built many bikes (one 1:12 racing bike), so I'm not up on what it needs to be a bike.

I was thinking some sort of bodywork. Like a mudguard on the front wheel, because like that it's going to clog up the front of the skull pretty quick.

59 degrees! oh me oh my didn't you melt in that extreme heat?

We're on that crazy Fahrenheit scale, that's actually really nice weather, kinda on the cool side.

Yeah, 59F is 11C- very, very nice. The earlier jungle-like humidity and all the rain has been really good for my small garden and for breeding mosquitoes, but that's about it

If it wasn't for my kids fighting yesterday ALL day, it would have been the perfect day. Mowed the lawn, did other yard work, spent a few hours at a park, to home then grilled and chilled. Think I need to drink more water though as I was getting real irritable (possibly dehydrated). Today were going over o a friends house we haven't seen in almost a year since we've moved. Thy invited us for BBQ and to go swimming in their pool. Food, fun and fellowship

I got up early this morning hoping to get inspiration for the attack bike or other units to no avail. Figured out how to remove he wheels off the lav, so of it base coated black without the airbrush. Also took apart the second lav while I was at it. Won't get it done in time for the competition, but it will eventually get done.

Here's the best of what I had worked up on the attack bike, still not liking it. The cockpit like on the tempest chicken jus looks too large here. It would be able o swivel, thereby allowing the driver to change direction in tight quarters of the underhive, and the weapons would be mounted on the side of the cockpit.

But in the end I hunk it will look more like the bike, with a skull on either side, possibly both facing the same direction, possibly not. The center will probably just be a turret mount and I'll rig up the weapon system there.

I think using the airbrush would've been less work than taking the wheels off don't you?

Easier.....yes, waking the kids up as well as waking up momma . During summer break she gets to sleep in late, and during he day my modeling time is heavily reduced. Once she's up then it's non stop, unless if she has plans with friends.

Back from a day at the pool, found some supplies when I got home.

8 sets of wheels for bikes, and 16 searchlight sets for the wheel axels. I guess I better nail down my plan soon.

Picked this up while I was out. Ran out of the bottle on the left, used half of it on my fingers, guess I should stop that.
Watching battleship in the background while planning stuff out. Hopefully I won't get sidetracked.
