I'm just afraid of drilling a hole through my finger. Can you do really tiny precision drilling with it as well? I don't see how you wouldn't hurt yourself trying to drill a hole through a bit only 1mm big:/

Well , its certainly a possiblity but like everything else you get better with practise and the threat of whirling blade injury keeps you on your toes.
with the right selection of tools you can drill/grind/shape/sand anything you want from plastics , resin, and virtually any metal you'll come across.
They are really good for pinning metal models that otherwise would take forever with a pinvice. Get a cheap "own brand' one from a DIY store and see how you get on. Go as slow as the settings will allow and you'll avoid most mishaps , cheaper ones usually go too fast and melt stuff or jump about.

Got a good chunk of Traitor Guard done , mostly 'Pre-Zombie" type guys. I really like how the heads turned out , before paint I was worried they looked a little small but now I'm hooked.

Really awesome. A whole army like this will be epic !! I'd say the only head that looks small is the one on the catachan body. And even then barely noticeable, only cuz you mentioned it. Fabulous work sir

Thanks mate , I'm liking them more the more I do ! I'm thinking some mortar teams next and maybe some Chaos Marauder horsemen / Cadian / German Gas Mask mashup Roughrider types when I get some spare cash.

I think the head looks out of place because off the huge Catachan arms , the others on Cadians look just fine once painted ! I won't be using anymore Catachan bits , I like the German Cadians too much now

So , done nothing with my Nurgle Guard in an age. I'm really happy with my NaziZombie Traitors , got the parts for mortar teams and going to use a 1:35th Scale Tamiya Universal Bren Carrier as a mover for them. Not German but seems to fit well enough.

However , I'm not really happy with the Chimera's russian ethic , its so based on the BMP 1 that it does my head in to use it with NaziZombie's .
So the big question I'm asking is , what does everyone think about converting the feth out of some 1:48th Scale Tamiya Sd.Kfz 251 halftracks ?

I have no intension of competitively gaming at a GW event so that is not a consideration.

Thoughts please !

Hiya mate!

Great work on those zomie troopers! The hands digging themselves out of the grave is genius!

Relly like the look of the vehicles also.... the Predator looks great.... and with those "warped" and mangled panels... it looks like a Predator... but with somethin slightly wrong with it! In a Chaeosy good way!

Good stuff!!

As my father once said to me : You cant polish a turd... but you can roll it in glitter!

Thanks very much dude , I do like how the panels came out after being "dremeled " even tho I was pretty much forced to by the modelling disasters forced on me by buying eBay junk.

What are your thoughts on replacing Chimera with 1:48th Scale Tamiya Sd.Kfz 251 halftracks?

Hey man! I think that sounds like it could be the start of something pretty cool.... I can see how a roof section could be added to make the troop compartment enclosed and even a small cupola with a heavy stubber or something being added........ you could be onto something.... give it a bash!

To be honest I was going to leave the troop compartment open for that proper Blitzkreig effect !
