The counter is meatshield Kroot. 10-man squad (minimum size so it consistently dies and gets out of the way), put them in front of an assault unit to stall them for a turn. Wasting points on assault units just means that you're bringing fewer guns and crippling your primary strategy.

I do not follow the paradigm of the internets says this is good and this isnt, strategy and tactics matter more and we have the tools to do some things people try and say are to hard, or not efficient and I think those people are wrong....

Sorry, but tournament results speak for themselves. Your "strategy" might work in a very casual environment where nobody brings optimized lists and everyone loves doing stupid stuff because it would be "fun", but if you're talking about a competitive environment then no amount of "tactics" can compensate for bringing a terrible list.

This is what I am doing. ATS will be on all but one Stealthsuit.

That volum of high STR fire is an extremely valuable place to put such an ability.

How do you get any wargear on stealth suits beyond the 'vre?

Any Shas;ui can take one item from the Support Systems. Advanced Targeting system is such a system. So you apply one to each member except the guy who takes Vectored Retrothrusters. Now the unit infiltrate and bounces and even if caught, they just jump out of combat. Donesky

HAHA! I lost the ability to take a cloud, but I still got a support system on each suit.....

well we only really lost 1 shot each a bit of pinning and large body count which should be a bit easier to place via infiltrate or deeps.

with that the only real good option for stealth suits is the ATS with maybe a VRT thrown in or TL for fusions if you take em, everything else sucks.
