Hey everyone this a fun question I thought of

So yea who would you never want to be captured by. Warband/ Race/ Chapter/ Organization etc.
Leave your army and reasoning of why

For me personally,being captured by slaanesh marines and mear thoughts of the types of sexual torture they probably do to their captives scares me like no other

Honestly, not even being dragged into the warp for all eternity could really match up with what the Dark Eldar do.

One could make a case that it'd suck getting caught by the bugs, but they kill you pretty fast at least. Same with Chaos and Space Marine/Tau/Orks/Necrons.

I think I can come up with a short list of who I'd want to be captured by. Tau, maybe. Everyone else is going to kill you slowly, in painful ways.

uhh... your soul does get tortured in the warp you know. I think the chaos gods are up there with the dark eldar in terms of imagination... as as for length of stay... you can't beat an eternity of suffering.

I would equally fear being captured either by slaanesh or by nurgle. The thought of slowly rotting away in the nastiest, most putrid body odors you could think of times ten... for eternity... ranks up there.

Second comes Dark Eldar.

The inquisition is pretty hardcore if you are on the wrong side of it... and it doesn't take much...

Orks might play with you a bit for fun, but eventually get tired and just krump you.

Tyranids just eat you. No interest in your suffering, unless it's purely by accident.

'Just eat you' is a bit misrepresentative. You potentially get eaten alive. For example, your position overrun, you take a swipe from a scything talon to the stomach. As you lie there bleeding out, a few Rippers grab you and drag you, past a bunch of other screaming, helpless wounded, to a digestion pool, where you are slipped in to melt away into a thick gruel.

There's plenty of physical pain and psycological terror in the process of 'just being eaten' by the Tyranids. It's not as drawn out or malicious as what the Dark Eldar would do, but it's up there with the worst.

IoM. You might ask why I say that, I'm just speaking from the human planets that weren't part of the IoM at first.
This psyker is not useful for war? Throw him/her as firewood for the Golden Throne.
This guy doesn't believe the Emperor is a God? Burn him.
This soldier couldn't accomplish his mission because of overwhelming odds? Blam him.
An optimistic and free thinker? Torture him, burn him, then shoot him.
This person was born without a arm? Doesn't look human, so burn it.

Same could be said for DE and Daemons, and they might actually put out. Eldar, not so much

Night lords, They will feth your brain up with torture and pain and darkness and you will wish you were dead. The dark eldar will also do that, BUT there is also a chance they will try some drugs on you. Making your death (potentially) vary painless and awesome.

Chaos-Spending all eternity in the warp at the mercy of the demons of chaos.....nuff said.

Specifically Nurgle, as you would see your very body, fester, rot, boil, blister, ooze and reek of all sorts of nastiness for all eternity is not a pretty place. You would see your own stomach intestines fall out of giant sores in your skin as your face starts to sweel up oozing pus while your legs start shriveling.

While DE probably is the worst of cases, I think there's one which surpasses them, Szeras.

This Necron dude will keep you alive as long as possible, and research you as long as possible, While DE will sometimes require a break from torturing you this guy can go on eternally.

He'll research every of your layers, atom by atom, he will try to see what you are made of. Weird machinery will keep you alive and kicking until there isn't even the slightest spark of hope in your soul left and then... only then, you will die, when you lost the actual will to live by yourself, or he accidentally did cut that important part, though chances are little of that happening.

Then there's of course our collector guy, Trazyn, ever wanted to be a live monopose model for actual ALL of eternity to represent an old and memorable battle? (don't know how alive you are, but I guess he doesn't kill his models because he wants them as intact as possible.

The warp sounds horrid too, however, chances to be killed there are kinda high, just provoke some Daemons of Khorne and your skull will end on the skull throne.
Plague-ish situation doesn't seem all that bad, after a while you'll be insane and wouldn't bother anymore at all.

A bit off-topic, I think tyranids are the worst enemies to fight if you are a living being, (Necrons wouldn't mind, nor would Daemons.) being teared apart by little flesh eating worms gives me the chills... brrr

Chaos. I would prefer to shoot myself before I was captured and have a chance to escape the possible eternal suffering. Seriously, DE and Tyranids are gruesome, but you'll die. Having demons playing and torturing your soul for all eternity sounds so much worse.

Dark Angels would be another bad one. Try not to look like you know anything about the Fallen. But I agree, any torture that lasts for eternity would have to be the worst.

Not sure what is up with the Nurgle hate. They would be the best... well, least bad Chaos force to be captured by. Convert to a follower and you get:

-Can't die
-Can't feel pain
-Love. Really, Nurgle cares about his followers!

Yes, you will look and smell terrible, but the downsides are purely cosmetic. Compare to the other Chaos forces. Even if you decide to join them, you get:

-tortured some more (Slaanesh)
-killed (Khorne, although an axe to the neck is isn't as bad as eternal torture)
-tortured some more, used as a pawn for centuries, then killed at an opportune time (Tzeentch)

Dark Eldar, they are extremely sadistic.

You may end up being tortured eternally in the Warp if Chaos takes you... but heck, the same goes for everyone else. You have to willingly go to Chaos for them to get dibs on your soul or the Emperor will protect it. You have just as much chance of being a plaything of Slaanesh if the DEldar take you as if the Emperor's Children have a go.

And all of these factions are why each and every guardsmen is issued a flashlight so they can take their own lives before capture, that is if the flashlight actually kills them...

They survive by feeding on others pain, so will keep you alive, and in absolute agony in the most inventive ways, until they suck all the pain out of you.

Oh sure... Nurgle is all warm and fuzzy and loving. You could make the same kind of argument about slaanesh.

Make no mistake, yes you can't die... but you are aware that you are living dead flesh and for a mortal, you are consumed by a thousand parasites. And it's not necessarily the case that you don't feel pain, especially if you are a mortal. It's probably like a sore, itching pain of being slowly eaten alive... but knowing that you are being kept alive forever.

Every chaos god represents some kind of allure, but at the end of the line there is only suffering.

Warp torture from slannesh primarily. Eternal pain and suffering SUCKS. close second is DE. Only reason is you eventually die from DE torture. They have people who skin you alive. People who hunt you for sport. And if your truly worthy they can have a haemunclous rebuild you every time you die (although im unsure if that works on non-DE). People who will do the most sadistic things to you. And remember, they relish ANY strong emotion. Pain. Fear. Excitement. They also like to experiment. I don't know about you but I don't fancy being sewn to a few hundred others and forced to fight in hell-pits for amusement.
