Yeah, the new Hotels are absurdly expensive. I called the Cosmopolitan for a quote, hahahaha, to rent the ballroom for 3 days at way less space than Ballys was $150,000!!!

So unless you guys want tickets in the $500 range, didn't think that was going to work out

You weren't kidding... I may have convinced my wife to travel with me for this as well haha. All I said was "hey wanna go to Vegas so I can play with toys and you can spend money? " and there was a resoundig yes...why can't everything go that easy, although now I guess it's a matter of saving up.

Great news! I am planning to be over there by February, so Im 90% sure I'll be coming along.

Actually, feth it.. make it 100%. I've just sent the long haired colonel (missus) a warning order, and even if we haven't moved back the the States by then (waiting on paperwork, I made her live in Yorkshire for the last 5 years!) I'll take some vacation and feth off over to Vegas for a week.

Put me down for twenty gallons of ale and a $20 Burrito at the NASCAR cafe.

Oh.. and a ticket as well.

Stayed at Bally's last year for Memorial Day weekend. It's perfect for this. Rooms were nice and really good prices, and it's pretty much smack dab in the middle of the Vegas strip so it's a great central location.

Really excited about this Vegas GT.. should be pretty reasonable to drag other east coasters out there.

Yeah, we're really excited as well! This is something we've been working on for ages and can't wait to finally bring it all together!

I am in California plenty, if this gets nailed on ill definitely show up in Vegas, I fething love the place and it will combine my love of drink and excess with gaming.

Haha, no doubt! We learned our lessons from growing too fast at the BAO. We already have over a dozen volunteers committed to helping keep everything running smoothly.

Is there a special hotel rate with Bally's yet, or will there be (I'm not up on Vegas hotels to know if they ever do anything like that)?

Don't confuse Reece with the...entertainers...to be found once you have actually arrived in Vegas. I assume Reece prefers his money via PayPal, rather than slipped into his clothing.

Hey Reece, let us know if we need to book our rooms under the LVO when the time comes if you're on the hook for a minimum number of rooms. I have a gambling/drinking problem so Ceasars ie. Bally's comps me 4 nights every quarter, I'll use them some other time if it matters.
