So this is a bit of a project that I have wanted to do for a while, and I have been able to procure a lot of the models that I wanted, and I have thought of some conversion ideas/found several things that I thought would look good to take and expand upon. Below will be that. I am going for a more "realistic" color scheme this time around instead of something super bright, I am up to some base colors on my demon princes, and I will have more in the future.

Below are some of the base models that I started my work with. Yay to pinning metal!....

Based, kitbash/conversion work is finished up so far. Primed white, then airbrushed with some bloodless skin from reaper master series. I am planning on fading the hooves into black going through grey and such. I also have some highlight off-whites to do.

Bases are started, they are very far from being done, but they are starting to come together and will set the example for the rest of army.

As always, criticism is welcome and I will certainly take it into consideration. Thanks.

Ooh. Subbed! Have you considered using bits from WM Satyxis?

I had owned some of these in the past and had not even thought of them. I might pick up one or two and use them as the squad leaders for the demonetts, but excellent though.

Here is a bit of an update painting wise on my first prince. I have made some headway on bases as well. I am liking how the colors and such are coming along.

Very nice choices for models. I have a whole metal juan diaz daemonette Army sitting in a box ready to be primed and painted. Unfortunately my kids are a that age where they are beginning to understand "sexy", and that conversation is on I'm not looking forward to. I ill keep heckling back here on these ladies.

LOL, Theo your mind is an amazing place, never change.-camkierhi 9/19/13
I cant believe theo is right.. damn. -comradepanda 9/26/13
None of the strange ideas we had about you involved your sexual orientation..........-Monkeytroll 12/10/13

I'd put you on ignore for that comment, if I could...Alpharius 2/11/14

I picked up a lot of diaz daemonettes as well, and have kids at that age. So I end up having to work on them when the kids are not around, but I understand the pain.

Nice models to start an army with. Where did you get the one with the duel whips and uh... Miss "perky" from.

That could make for a very interesting "birds & the bees".

She is from reaper, she is the Urban Legend Sophie model.

Well with Slaanesh, I am thinking more like la blue girl and such, but certainly lots of deaths through extacy/or it will turn out to be a doomthumbs tribute, who knows.

For the most part I have finished up the first of my 3 daemon princes. The only piece I have let to do besides do a a bit of cleanup on some areas the camera showed me had faults, that my eyes did not would be to finish up the water effects I am doing in the pool. Overall, I am very happy with the state she is in and she is setting a good president for the other 2 that need their bases finished and the Keeper that needs to go into paint. More to come in the near future.

Another bit of an update. I have finished up most of my keeper. She still needs the base to be finished, but she is in a very good state at this point. The more I play with lighter colors, the more I am becoming inclined to go to a darker "light box" to take photos because the white really digs deep into some of the pigments and does not reflect as well as I would like them to. The nice side to that problem is it shows really tiny faults I would not have seen otherwise.

That's looking really good mate! The shading is excellent. If I have one niggle it's that the black slaanesh icon on the leg seems to lack depth compared to the rest. I love it as a whole, though.

Agreed, I am thinking about going in and highlighting it with a really dark grey, or some other color to add depth.

How about doing it as scar tissue, or a brand?

Thank you good sir.

Fantastic idea. I will need to look up some source material, but this is a great idea. Thank you.

Well my thought would be to trace over your black with a line of liquid gs, and then blend the colour in from a white down to the grey you're using.

That is a good Idea, my only concern would be how fluid the liquid GS is, but I think I could make it work. Thanks for the idea.

It's very viscous. You won't get run-off. I think it'd work well.

It has been a few weeks since I have put anything new up, but I have made some progress. There are a few items that I need to finish up on them, but the pieces I needed to knock out their bases. I picked up some some supplement models from Brother Vinni's to add some more depth and depravity to the bases. I have started into the block of Juan Diaz demonnetts, and a couple of boxes of Raging Hero's Preying Mantis models to supplement them a bit. I have a large order of Juan Diaz Seekers on their way to me and once I have them I should be on the home stretch of this project. Thanks again for looking.

Looking great, very nasty in a good, vaguely NSFW way!

Considering the copious amount of diaz models I will be using, this is still rated R. NC17 will be here eventually.
