They are made from cake toppers and green stuff. I cut up existing cake toppers and convert them extensively.

Wow, those are amazing. The Mario Kart topper is the best in terms of sheer impressiveness and the skill required, but I am awfully fond of the Zelda/Link one, as it's just so damn cute!

I've played Mario Kart on an X-box (not the 360 though).
Modded systems make for some strange combinations.
