Heresy-era Battle Barge is up and ready for printing!

As per your suggestions, I sharpened up the prow a little, lengthened the ship, embiggened it in general, and changed the profile of the rear shield panels. Here's the final product!

It honestly doesn't feel like a Battle Barge to me without the rear 'shield' fins...
Does it cost anything to have a Shapeways store / what sort of percentage do you get for things printed?

It actually does have rear shield fins, they might just be hard to see in that image. Maybe this one from the shop is better?
Shapeways allows you to set your own markup on models. My markup is only a few dollars per sale on items like this battle barge - their pricing is done by part volume, so bigger items go up in price quickly, and I try not to add too much to the cost. Other than that there's no cost for running a shop.

It doesn't look like what people are after, but if you are really having trouble finding models I would say go for a Hive Fleet.
Tyranid ships can easily be converted up using various plastic 40k kits. Back when Tyranid rules first came out for BFG I built a small force out of the old one pose genestealers and gaunts and at the time I had people trying to buy it from me.

And Orks are probably even easier, they can be scratch built out of pretty much anything.
CalgarsPimpHand, I love the design of the Strike Cruiser and I'd totally be tempted to buy a slightly tweaked identical design scaled up to grand cruiser and battleship size for use as Imperial or Chaos rather than marine.
I'm not so sure about the Battle Barge coming as I am from an Imperial and Chaos fleet perspective rather than Space Marine but then again I'd love to see a picture of the final product all painted up as I'm sure that makes a lot of difference.

That's really nice, when I have money I'm definitely picking up one and a couple of the strike cruisers

I like it. It doesn't match the metal one, but it has it's own take on the Space marine ship style. Easily makes me think of an "Heresy" ship model.
