Looking to fix up a couple of my boards and wondered what type of transport one might find in the world of Malifaux?
Obviously we have the Train and horse drawn carts but being a steampunky world do we have mechanized cars? Vans? Bikes?Boats?
Any thoughts and/or ideas for what I could use would be awesome!
Cheers guys!

Technology isn't that advanced suprisingly. It seems a little weird... but trains, horse drawn carts... you could probably assume early cars like the steam wagon or the road locomotive...

With the Arcanists making robotic spiders and giant metal-bending Rail Golems, technology could be higher than that. The Freikorps themselves have flamethrowers and exoskeletal suits, imagine what a properly formed military would have.
I'd imagine everything along the lines of [i]League of Extraordinary Gentlemen]/i]. Early automobiles, tanks, submarines, zeppelins, biplanes, etc. Basically everything that existed prior to the real-world World War I if the world's nations never mobilized for all-out war.
After all, the earliest automobiles existed alongside horse-driven carriages. It's not too much of a stretch to assume the occasional mad inventor constructing a one-of submarine or tank. It'd make a nice display piece, too. However, the fluff doesn't really mention any vehicles aside from horses, horse carriages, and trains.

I'd think a horse drawn streetcar wouldn't be out of place.

Hmm... I like the idea of a crashed Bi-Plane! Maybe from some explorer sort that has ventured through the breach or at least one of the breaches and has had an unfortunate ending... in a tree! Maybe skellital remains of the pilot...

If you're looking to litter your table with automobiles and the like, I'd suggest sticking with something like you see in the new Sherlock Holmes movies... very rudimentary, Model T and the like.

The Model T is too advanced. I'd say stick to the earliest European cars like the Benz Patent-Motorwagen, one of inventor Siegfried Marcus' cars, or The Präsident by Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau-Fabriks-Gesellschaft A.G.

And if you're looking for something with a Steampunk twist, don't forget that one of those "horse" drawn carriages was using mechanical horses...

For the sake of... balance?... I would give Malifaux a 10-ish year advantage on steam power than real life had, especially Breech-side. So, it wouldn't be totally impossible for The Governer to be rolling around in a 1st- gen Stanley.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_steam_road_vehicles
Wyrd has been quiet about steam technology Earth-side, so we'll have to wait until Through the Breech drops to see if the advanced steam tech is because of some peoples' connection to technology, like Ramos or Hoffman.

I'd say that's about at the limit.

I am going to make a few Bioshock Infinite themed crews to play with. Heroclix is helping me out in a huge way by making Bioshock Infinite miniatures for their game. You might want to check out their AutoStallion if you're looking for something that kind of straddles the divide between motorised vehicles and horses.
Thus far I reckon I can make the following crews with a Bioshock Infinite theme; Lady Justice, Pertdita, Lucius, C. Hoffman, Colette, Kaeris and if you stretch it a bit, Kirai.
I don't think the Horse will be in huge demand so you should be able to pick it up off ebay cheap.
