Testimonials just to confirm people received their stuff?

Ya just don't get it do ya RF. Besides a few incidents and also an accusation of recasting the french gentlemans work, no one has said RF is chronically not delivering. You keep smokescreening with that angle trying to make it look like that is what Dakka is saying, it's not.

No one thinks RF was at the stage where they were welching yet. The point is one of your founders was known to run ponzi schemes, where he always did a good job for the first few months before the chaos began. Proving you have delivered at this point is immaterial to whether or not your customers are at risk buying from you. If in 5 years, you don't have a mark on your record from now on it would be relavant, but now, 7 months in after all the bs and lies and obfuscation, it doesn't matter one tiny little bit.

I repeat what does matter -

1. Produce your current business registration number showing you are legally allowed to do business in the state of Texas. Everything you sell without that number is illegal.
2. Produce the previous business registration number showing you were legally allowed to do business in the state of Texas. Everything you sold without that number is illegal.
3. Prove you went to the HH weekender as you swore you would and did before and after the fact. Otherwise you pre-sold items you had no way of securing, and scammed your customers with lies and false promises.

Not that I expect you to answer Stephakim. But I'll keep asking every time you try to make an issue out of nothing to distract from the the real items that call your whole operation into question. You are obligated to answer those questions both legally and morally to your customers and the govt, sooner or later, it's going to bite you.

Looks like they've started buying more likes as well after so many dropped.

We don't know that... but one would imagine a store not currently doing business on anything but PM, with terrible and sporadic PR and in the center of giant controversy with a mask wearing owner would not be accruing tons of likes. Amusing that most of their posts get at most 30 likes, sometimes as low as 2 or none, yet their like rate seems to increase.

2000+ people in 7 months... ya...

I'd like to also point out something.

DM said not only that RF was closing down, but that they already had a buyer for the allegedly $800 USA worth of bits they had left.

Given that Kim/Step has said that RF will be "reopening", does this actually constitute a good business decision regardless?

I do have information about the PM sales, which I can view as an admin on the FB page. All sales via PM are rerouted and checked out on the shopping cart.

While I don't have much information, that is something I can shed light on.

The website looks fully functional to me, items can be added to a cart last I checked(which was from any IP that isn't my home).

Do you have information about this buyer who bought all the remaining stock or was the Kim referring to herself in the 3rd person?

Hi AJ so. After seeing the video, can you please comment on the video it self now? How it didn't address the situation or even clear anything up? Sure you want to continue helping RF when they had a chance to answer and address the situation and we got a video less then a minute long. So nearly a week and no business reg number yet. Or any other questions answered. Well like with the mask in the video RF can take that idea and black the faces out in the HH pictures and post them now .

Well since RF have decided to go down the route of sticking their fingers in their ears and going "la la la we can't hear you ask for legitimate business ID" they obviously don't have any . So i have contacted the Texas Tax office (yes Danial all the way from little old England ! since you seemed to think that that was some impossible feat ) and have voiced my concerns that a Business with reportedly hundreds of customers selling thousands of dollars of stock (now with added Video Testimonials ) refuse to provide a Legitimate Registration Number (a state mandate in Texas ) when asked for it

And as for the Video Testimonial BS (which by the way was the last straw for me that was the point that i decided to actually try to do something ) surely uploading a video endorsing an "Alleged Scam Company" must violate the T&C's of You Tube ?

Well, you beat me to it. MajorTom11 did raise a good point that they could be operating illegally. If they are indeed operating illegally, they deserve to be fed the law.

Props for contacting the tax office, while i applaud the intended action I sadly feel that not much will come of it. After speaking with my brother (who is law enforcement here in texas, and a good friend of the DA in Houston), this most likely will just get shuffled into the circular filing cabinet. There just isn't enough money/damages to really get the state to sink their teeth into this case, and just like any good business, if it isn't profitable it isnt worth their time. But I could be wrong, and if they respond to you SC i'd love to get updated! Nothing would make me happier than for you to prove me wrong

His entire reason for still being out of any real legal trouble is that he is just a tiny fish that had been able to get small sums of money from people that don't matter in the grand scheme of things. The police hears reports of "I got screwed out of a couple hundred bucks buying toy soldiers over the Internet" and they don't care to spend the man hours on something like that.

Somewhere in south-central England.

You could do it for breach of contract under the Small Claims legislation. I know there is a US version. However you have actually to be the wronged party to do so.

You have to serve the court summons on the defendant so it helps to know their address. I will leave it to people to think about why Resin Forge may be so reluctant to provide a business address.

So to come back to our still unanswered (I think) question: when and where did RF actually publish the link to that video? Since it is not on their FB page and didn't go via "newsletter".

It was likely sent to one of the people who forward RF's replies, since they don't have the stones to post here themselves.

Would it be legal to start posting all the evidence we have up to a public facebook page or webpage as RF end up deleting all the stuff aimed at Dakka.

Again, Kim/Stephanie. You need to address the issues, not waffle about how "Dakka is targetting you".

Has it actually been proven that Resin Forge is a legal entity (legitimate company)? If not then any misdeeds the persons behind Resin Forge are personally liable for any losses, as far as I know this is not the case as yet. All of the previous misdeeds were against Mandelbaum and any claims should be against him. You have his fathers address which would be a good place to start.

The current person behind Resin Forge Stephanie Hernandez may be unwilling to post her address for fear of Mandelbaum hatred, which by association she is included, or it could be something more sinister and she intends to run the business in the same way. It is more than likely that DM is still behind the scenes and that this is his usual MO.

No, it hasn't. Quite frankly, I'm just waiting for someone to turn this into a legal action lol.

Or we could pull a C+D on Kim/Stephanie on defamatory action on facebook @ dakka.

Seriously though, What they are doing is actually way more destructive to themselves then anything we can do.

And an aside to the video. I believe that weird way of talking was her attempting to mask her normal voice. The video was aimed directly at Dakka, and not shown to anyone else (otherwise she'd lose customers/likes obviously).

A.J. I'd like to hear your personal opinion on the video, on Kim/Stephanie and I would like evidence that proves that both Daniel and Jason have left. Thats what Resin Forge lacks, and will always lack, credibility. As long as you do not present evidence, there will always remain a question. Anyone can say they have done something. Does that mean that they have physically done it? No.

It could be proved to some extent by showing the before and after registrations, however people would have some doubt that Mandelbaum was not still involved behind the scenes, as Stephanie/Kim Hernandez is his wife.

I've mentioned it before, but it's been a while.
We have a thread on this issue on Bartertown. Essentially, it's just an informative post, with a link to THIS thread.
Provided that all information remain (a) pertinent to the current situation and (b) follows Bartertown's posted rules, anything you want to save 'for posterity' can be posted in that thread. There are some things we allow that Dakka doesn't (addresses, for example) which could do well for the community if shared. You're welcome to post them there.
This includes screen captures, etc.
