Hi there, everyone. So, I'm coming back into Tau again, but I'm not sure what sort of loadout to use for my second team of Crisis Suits. I have one squad already running plasma rifle and fusion blaster (makes them able to take on marines, terminators, and vehicles fairly efficiently), but what should I use for a second squad? What are some good ways to run them?

I personally think TL plasma rifles are useful. Tau have plenty of options for taking out light infantry/ light vehicles and heavier vehicles, and there is a slight gap for dealing with 2+ save units; so plasma plugs this gap. Twin linking it makes it more useful for overwatch/ supporting fire.
Others recommend 2 (not twin linked) missile pods, for weight of fire, I believe

Possible builds and points (including the crisis suit) I dont remember the official names.
2 Burst cannons for 42 points
2 Flamers for 32 points
2 Missile pods 52 points
2 Plasma rifles 52 points
2 Fusion blasters 52 points
Burst cannons are good for light infantry
flamers are good for infantry of any kind if you can get close enough and good for overwatch. Reason shear number of hits.
Missile pods are good from a distance but have low AP.
Plasma Rifles are good for AP but have shorter range (optimally)
Fusions are similar but better against vehicles.
You might know this already but i hope it helped.

What job are you going to give the team? What armies will you be dealing with more often?
I have a number of squads that have roles in the army.
2xMP + flamer - this unit hangs back around my firewarriors. they focus on light vehicles and fast movers, bikes, jetbikes. anything that can close quick and puke out troops is bad news, so they heap on shots. flamers as back up.
TL PR + BC - This is a general purpose team mostly designed for infantry hunting. Plasma for better armored troops and Burst for light armored troops. still a good volume of fire. twin link on the plasma because they often dont get markerlight and need to stay reliable.
PR+FB+TL - Heavy armor heavy vehicle hunters. Shadowsun typically joins to this unit (or i run 2 BG with the same set up). This team tends to get markerlights first to make the shots count. big threats need to be taken off reliably. the target lock is to spread shots around so i dont waste shooting from this team if i pop a target in minimum shots.
