Ok so i had someone add me as a friend today but the account itself only has one post and that was all the way back in March 2012. That one post seems to be the only activity the account ever had.

So i'm not quite sure whether this person is just a pro level lurker who added me for what ever reason or if it's a problem with the 1's and 0's of Dakka that's causing random friend requests and such to be sent out for no reason in particular. Anything like this happen to anyone else?

The friend button is sometimes hit when scrolling on a touch screen. Could be they were logged in (for the other benefits you get from being logged in) and accidentally clicked you there when scrolling.

Yeah, I've accidentally friended people before. It is always awkward when you defriend them afterwards.

Righto then. I just thought it was strange due to the fact the account has had no apparent use over the last year and yet is still friending people.
