Post the armies you play, and the armies you do best against with each. My most played army so far has been BT, and my success rate with them was the highest against Necrons. I have no success against nids, however; in the 10-12 games I've gone against them, I won once.

Army I play the most: Tau.
Army I beat the most: Everyone.
In all seriousness, I think my army does best against Marine codices. Three units that make it into just about every list I run (Riptide, plasma/fusion Crisis Suits + Shadowsun, and an ion cannon/Longstrike Hammerhead) are very, very good at killing Marines. Fire Warriors backed up with markerlights then have plenty of firepower to deal with whatever's left over, what with their 30" guns that hit on 2s or 3s and wound on 3s (and shoot an extra shot with a Fireblade in the unit).

I play tau and I feel the same about marine lists. We have so much ap1/2 and marines have such a low model count that it really ends up being an easy match up. Nothing makes me happier than to see my opponent with a bunch of terminators and very little of anything else.

Salamanders - I tend to do really well against Imperial Guard. I haven't lost a game to them yet. (Knock on wood!) And they're the most commonly played army at my local.
Tau - I haven't won a game with Tau yet, without Imperial support! So I still can't say!

I mostly play against Slaaneshi themed Chaos marines, but I fight best against hordes and all kinds of Tyranids.

As weird as it sounds, for my Tyranids their best is so far Dark Eldar. I struggle with power armour, since even with weight of fire my friends roll abnormally high for their saves and I generally roll terribly for to hit and wound (it's not the dice, as well all use the same pool). I have the opposite experience with Dark Eldar. My DE playing friend rolls terribly for any saves he gets to make and I roll hits and wounds like a champion against them (even to the point of nailing home blast weapons reliably, and saving about 15 splinter shots from a Scourge squad on a Carnifex).

I'm a Nid player, but I consider Orks the easiest math up. Seriously, what Nids do to Orks is just inhuman. Necrons and IG are also pretty good. I also love playing Marine Armies, with the lone exception of the Space Wolves. Really, I consider my "bad" matchups to basically be Eldar (and Dark) and Tau, and Space Wolves. Nothing else has given me a problem I haven't been able to overcome after a bit of thought. Of course, allied combinations of the above 4 "Bad" match ups are even more fun... But, I have to acknowledge that these armies exist, and I've been working on counter-tactics. DEldar are now not bad unless Eldar are present. Eldar I'm no bothering because they'll be updated. SW I pretty much have figured out (in my head) how to beat, and finally Tau... I haven't played the new dex, but they look mean. Let's just say I have some mean ideas though.

I play mostly guard and crush most of the armies I face, especially marine armies.
The only armies that give me trouble are point denial armies that run away and hide most of the game but this only happens with bad tournament scenarios.
I especially enjoy clobbering elves of all kinds in 40k and fantasy but maybe the new eldar codex will even things out some more.
