No, throwing out a quick twitter joke before you realise the scope of the tragedy is not actually the same thing as openly speculating if the government created the tornado to murder its own citizens.
Seriously, I know it's fun and profitable to say 'both sides', but you actually have to have to equal sides to make that work. Now, there might be some left wing nutter out there claiming that this tornado is all the fault of the right wing, but if that's true then post that, don't just pretend that a joke made in ignorance and quickly apologised for is the same thing is a conspiracy theory.

I don't think the claims of racist attitudes by the government in the response to Katrina constitute a conspiracy. Or Global warming.
Where there claims of weather manipulation with Katrina? I honestly don't know. I know that both sides have conspiracy theorists. Hippy's go hand in hand with conspiracy and left wing after all, but I have never heard anything about weather manipulation in Katrina. The left wing conspiracy theorists, IMO, seem to be the more "The government are hiding information about aliens" type than "They want to kill us and implement a NWO" type.

I mean, what a stupid question. You start tornadoes in areas without them then people will know that it is a weapon. It can only be used in areas that already have allot of tornadoes, or where you have built up a history of tornadoes over many years to cover up what you are doing. Ok, global warming's existence has a huge amount of support from the world wide scientific community and is accepted as actually happening in most 1st world nations. It is only really considered a controversial issue here in the states, as far as Europe is concerned, it is accepted as fact, just like evolution. It's influence on the weather is likely, it's direct influence on individual random weather activities is extremely difficult to prove. So comparing climate change to 'government weather devices' is asinine.
I never saw or heard of a media representative mentioning Bush had 'weather control devices', could you provide citation as I did in the opening post, instead of pointing at the left and saying 'they were far worse during kat'.

I realize this isn't the same as theorizing that Bush controlled the weather, but I do remember Spike Lee claiming that Bush had the Army Corps of Engineers blow up levees in order to purposely flood black communities.

Technically, he said he doesn't care about black people, not that he hates them. I don't care about ants, and don't go out of my way to kill them, but I do hate moths, and kill them on sight (my kitchen had a persistant pantry moth infestation).
And you know, that's the worst part of that whole thing. We can argue whether or not the Bush administration had any culpability for Katrina (IMO he did not, I think local disaster planning is not generally a federal responsibility, though the federal elements could have been better handled).
But the whole thought that George W. Bush doesn't care about black people is the most ludicrous thing ever. His administration has probably been directly responsible for saving more black lives than any other modern president via his PEPFAR program. It's a shame that he doesn't get the credit he deserves for this while also getting (rightfully) the crap he deserves for all he did wrong. Credit where credit's due, as HBMC said.
