Nice to meet everyone! i suppose i should start off with an intro of my minigaming history-
I've been playing warhammer 40k since 4th edition (yay tau!) and I sunk my teeth into 5th edition with a vengeance! Started off with chaos daemons, then went deathwing which evolved into dark angels. found my niche for elite armies with that one. Once people at my LGS started taking plasma and AP 2 regularly, I branched out to orks (which I've always had a soft spot for the greenskins) played them with little success, as it was hard to get used to having less than 2+ armor saves. After that i got into space wolves, making my "chaos space wolves" which at the time was a novel idea, many screams of heresy at my LGS.
After some success with wolves, I met the woman who would become my wife; I knew this when she saw the models she said "that's cool, show me how to play"! She currently plays dark eldar venomspam. Since then I've collected and played grey knights, Imperial guard. I'm currently working on orks, dark eldar (for the mrs) and have been flushing out more of my Imperial guard force.

That is not to say I only play 40k, both my wife and I have gotten into warmahordes, she plays circle and retribution, I play legion and protectorate.
Sadly, I had to move for work to somewhere where there is no gaming community. to get a game, new models or paints I have to drive 150 miles/ 3 hours one way.
