So, I'm not sure how many of you have been following the recent incident in the train wreck that is Amanda Bynes but here's a quick summary.

Amanda was arrested in New York city after police came to her residence due to domestic disturbance. She was taken to to Roosevelt Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and later booked. This is apparently a parol violation for an earlier conviction.

Have you ever smoked the joint? The gak Charlie Sheen and Lindsy Lohan are doing is way more intense than weed that being said how is this news? She's acting her age this is the type of behaviour you'd expect from a similar aged party-going college student why would anyone assume

any other behaviour? This is normal and common.

Yeah, I take back what I said don't think I know what I'm talking about but that is a how I generally feel when I hear stories of young celebrities drinking or doing drugs just sounds like the typical behaviour of a college student (with exceptions of course).

There's a show that's sometimes on our local news channel in the mid morning, TMZ I think, and it goes after celebs and has breaking stories about their 'scandals'.

That show made a statement, from the entire office, that it would not touch this story and that this girl was suffering serious issues that were not being addressed by those around her. If even that vulture of 'entertainment' wouldn't touch this then I have only pity for this lass and, again, ponder at the celebrity making and breaking machine and it's contemptible exploitation of young people's drug and mental illness issues, which it created in them.

I hope this girl gets the help she needs.

I remember her old show on nickolodean.
Now she is doing drugs. IDK, with numerous druggies in my family that screwed us over, It is hard to feel sorry for drug users sometimes, they made a choice. Why should i feel sorry for them.

Yea Ive seen that show a couple times when cable was out. If they wont touch it, then the gak is real, because they go after everyone

According to reports, the 27-year-old actress — who has been unusually silent on Twitter since Friday — has caused a few disturbances while in the Los Angeles area since arriving on the West Coast over the weekend.

On Sunday, Bynes returned to her hometown of Thousand Oaks, California, where she was accused of trespassing at a retirement center. The "Easy A" actress allegedly claimed she was trying to visit a relative but was turned away by management due to her bizarre behavior. When she returned later cops were called although she was not arrested.

This isn't the first time Bynes has undergone psychiatric evaluation. On May 23, Amanda was arrested for allegedly throwing a bong out of the window of her 36th floor apartment in NYC. She was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation before a Midtown police station to be processed.

Before leaving New York last week, Bynes was reportedly booted from the Ritz-Carlton after some allegedly unruly behavior.

The former Nickelodeon star is due in a New York court on August 26 to face charges of reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and marijuana possession stemming from her May arrest.

It makes you wonder how people like Charlie Sheen and Robert Downey Jr. can keep it together despite serious substance abuse and others like Amanda just slide off the rails.
