I don't mean just imperial, I mean including bio titans and Mega gargants. I think it's probably one of the encountered bio titans like the tremourbeast or an Emperor-class Imperitor Titan (although one was taken down by several warhounds and another by a warlord Titan).

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

It would have to be the Imperator from what we know, and most likely entirely unless the Necrons build something.

I would also vote for the Imperator titan. In epic only 1 of them was quite well matched against 2 mega gargants.

The moon, Titan.

It houses the Grey Knights Chapter alongside, in the words of Lexicanum, "a vast array of defense fleets, interceptors, and ground-based weaponry. It is said that only Terra, Mars, and Cadia sport more formidable defenses."

I reckon Titan (the moon) could defeat any Imperator, Gargant or Bio-titan you could throw at it.

Which is possible. Strongest Titan doesn't mean impregnable. In particular under the old Epic and Titan Legion rules, all Imperial Titans were potentially vulnerable to lucky one hit kills on their heads and reactors.

I like the Castigator from the GK series. Gatling gun that fires daemons? I'll take two!

As much as I like the moon Titan, the SW did manage to crash a cruiser into it quite effectively. For how much the GK/Inquisition boast about Titan's defenses, had the ship actually been aimed towards the citadel it would have been a sad day for the GK.

It isn't actually, because Gurren Lagaan is not connected to 40k, and you're posting off-topic.

Clever.

The most powerful one I've ever seen is probably Godbreaker, the Ork Gargant present at Helsreach. Notably, it steamrolls a Legio, including an Emperor class Titan that only barely slowed it down. It also dwarfed said Emperor class Titan.

It required a Nova Cannon to destroy it.

Though, I have heard that the Necrons deployed some super powerful Necron Titan in the Medusa V campaign, that, similar to their starships, was far more powerful than anything the Imperials had pound for pound, capable of crushing larger Titans easily.

They did, it looked like some kind of huge centipede. It rampaged through entire legions, left a trail of destruction and shattered armies, and was only stopped by an Abominus class titan after leaving many a jaw hanging open.

Chaos Imperator, after leveling the army it was with. I literally went "wait what the feth just happened?" When it showed up, ate it's way through multiple armies in the fluff, and went on it's merry way.

Imperator is my vote as I am not familiar with all these 'one off' Titans others speak of so I'm going to compare it only to other production model Titans.

Although I don't know how the rules for the Warlock Titan would go. A Titan charged with psyker benefits would be nasty indeed. Plus Eldar Titans don't go toe-to-toe with things like the Imperator but could probably still defeat it through hit and run tactics.

Eldar Titans are almost always superior to their imperial counterparts, however the Eldar Phantom Titan variant to which you are referring is a class below the imperator. It's meant to take on warlord titan classes. It has the potential to beat a Imperator as yo said through hit and run but remember, one shot from a hellstorm cannon or plasma annihilator and it's goodbye phantom.

Eldar Titans cap out at about Warlord to Reaver class Titan size.

Hellstorm was a bigger threat due to the old rules of area weapons like it ignoring holofields. Lot of the plasma annihilator shots would have missed, particularly if the Warlock Titan used its power of Witch Sight, which gave a further -1 to hit.

I'd say imperator, but gargants don't really have size or weapon limitations, so there's probably some ridiculous one twice the size of an imperator somewhere.

Not twice as big, though. Another thing to take into consideration is the fact that Stormherald had been fighting non-stop for over a month by the time it was destroyed.

It is described as "dwarfing" Stormherald, and while that is true, Stormherald could barely slow it down. Which is still better than any of the other Titans, which it walked through with all the casualness of a summer stroll.

Probaly not the strongest seeing as its the size of a reaver titan but id like to give special mention to the Unnamed Titan used by Jormungandr.

Size-wise certainly, but they tend to be better than equal-sized items and nearly as good as ones in a catagory above. Phantoms are almost on part with Warlords. So the upgrade to it...the Warlock...if it had current rules, would probably be almost to the Emperor.

The only reason why I say that it could be on par with an Imperator or something larger is that the Eldar Titans can always choose their battles. Sort of why a small race like the Dark Eldar can't be easily eradicated, you can't bring them to battle to do said eradication.

Obviously my opinion is still just an opinion.
