I got my final shipping notice for my single wave bulk order. I've been chasing them every week for 4 weeks for details - it seems my Lt Parker in resin was the only thing holding it up all this time.

Drusilla is also specifically listed in the shipping notice.

Re Nertha, I too had the foot issue - I'm just going to bog my hole up with a bit of GS then my normal basing ballast.

So maybe only another week (based on shipping time to Oz for the freebie wave) and I'll be done with this little adventure.

They only updated it once.

Alexander Kurganov is such a massive piece of pewter, you'd have to get rid of him if you were thrown into a river, lest you sink to the bottom with it.

So, I finally got to bring some minis to work for a little photo shoot. The basing is not quite done, I need to clean it up and wash it in something darker to hide the primer. I have learned though. Coffee grounds don't adhere enough to hide white primer. The more you know.

The thing I regret the most is them not taking a bit more time [sic] to figure out that their thigh guards are way too huge for the rest of the minis.

With so few pieces and such small pieces, I think a missed opportunity was to have sprues laid out in HIPS. Each squad would have been a sprue, and I don't feel they really took advantage of the undercuts resin allow. The hip armour could have been a lot thinner.

Great paintjobs! Totes not sold on the models themselves however, nor the odd weapon designs.

The guns have a very dieselpunk look to them. If you're into that. it's cool. But as you said, I find the IE troopers to be the least grating of the three. All in all, I am not disappointed in getting so few of them, and on pledging for very few on the new one.

Heroes? Yes please. Troopers? No way in hell, mate. Once I have my three squads of suicide-goodness, the rest are remaining in their baggies.

Literally just the cyberzombies holding me up then, and it sounds like they're likely to be done soon, maybe just in time for the second ad-mech codex which would be rather pleasing if they could counts as in that.

Just hope you don't need to field more than a single unit of five. As I said earlier, posability is quite limited.

Picked up my freebies and wave 3a stuff at my drop ship store yesterday. Gaming group guys all really liked the very fine detail on the figs. Will be interesting to compare one against one of the new GW Skitarrii.

It's not even close. Raging Heroes has very, very fine details. All around the resin bubbles. In the same ballpark as the Dreamforge Eisenkern infantry. In all fairness, I haven't seen the Skitarii up close, though.

It is a current-gen GW plastic kit, so sharp details, good tooling, no flaws aside from the odd mold line.

I will try and find someone at the local club to compare with the new Skitarii, but i do expect much better detail (mine have really not done badly with bubbles... lucky?) on the TGG minis.

It really is down to Resin > Plastic.

Although upon receiving the thing in 6months time, i'm sure it'll make all of you more jealous than i currently am, waiting for my Wave 3......

I hope that in 6 months, I won't be visiting this page anymore. I'm done with my second squad (knee adequately sculpted) and only have my last one to paint to have my suicide squads ready to pop tanks.

I was thinking, and I might as well ask, is the Tempestus Command worth it in regular IG? I won't use the vox net, most probably.

You're better off playing them with the storm trooper codex, they get better orders that way.

I don't know if a 2015 wrap-up will be possible, seeing as they're taking a trip to the resin caster to discuss improvements. There's not a lot left, but at this rate..

I really like the way they will handle fulfillment for the new campaign. Your funds are there, when you want to get stuff, just go to the "store" and order what you want when it is available. You can punch out at any time, if with a sub-par selection.

I have recently received some wave 3 models at my drop ship, but am still waiting for artillery and a wolf, so they seem to be shipping whatever is finished, even if some stuff is not done.
