So, anyone making odds on the Imperator/Emperor Titan being removed from the book since they don't sell a model for it? I'm also wondering if things like the Fortress of Arrogance and Plaguehammer will go out because, while they're conversions of existing models, they don't actually have kits.

As far as the price list goes... eh. Every release comes with a price hike now, I'm getting too damn apathetic about them to complain much. $160 for Chaos Lord Bellybutton-Cannon? Sure, why not. It'll probably sell almost as well as it would at $100. I'll probably buy the book as long as it's better than the last edition (awkward size and poor binding) since I'm a fan of big games. The rest? Fug it up the rear.

I am wondering if the imperial strong point set is going to go up in price. As of now it is actually a good deal.

Those prices are pretty eye watering. It does seem that there are now monthly hikes. Not sure where the bar is regarding when does it become too much? I know I won't be buying much more if these prices are here to stay. I'd probably have bought the chapter masters if they were £20ish for the set, but a hundred bucks for four marines is beyond what I can justify paying.

Seriously, all GW are really good at anymore are packing bits on a sprue and achieving a decent casting quality (for their plastic kits anyway, Finecast is a failure all around). If you want gak that actually looks cool then you need to find another game.

Khorne guy's not worth $160. Laughed at the model when it was first spoiled, laughed harder at the price...never buying one. Jesus Christ, and I thought they were overreaching when they sold the plastic baneblade for just under $100, things are just getting downright insane anymore.

The two smaller terrain sets look decent with what appears to be a reasonable price tag. On the large terrain piece I'm not totally sold on the design and pricing really depends on how big it turns out to be. As for £95 über kits, the megalith I like the look of but may be a lil rich, the skulldozer is just bleugh even at a lower price. Masters of chapter are just very poor, dull, uninspired and overpriced.

Wow GeeDubs have really restrained themselves... I only counted 19 skulls on the Aquila strongpoint and 4 of them i'm assuming were skulls since its quite blurry.

Sadly the inside walls are covered in skulls, you just can't see them.

On the plus side, anyone who wants to build a (smallish) Imperial Navy Ship now can, using almost exclusively these kits.

I ain't saying it's gonna be cheap... but if I had the funds, I'd try.

Hey i have no problem with skulls or even a lot of skulls. Skulls are kinda like the Imperiums sigil (if you completely ignore the Aquila) and i don't mind seeing lots on terrain or vehicles. I just don't need 4 or 5 on a single guardsmen is all.

Oh good. I'm going to reverse the walls and have the skulls on the outside then. They can be my "Aquila Skullpoint", "Fireskull Redoubt" and "Vengeance Weapons... Batt...skull...ery......".

Ah, well.

1) The Lord of Battle looks a lot better with the alternate head. The skull gun is a little silly though...it should be bigger. It would be more in proportion then.

2) Seriously, what's with giving the LoB such stubby guns?

3 and 4) I'm a tad disappointed in the shard. It looks too...human. The old C'tans were better. I like the vault, but I think I might have to do something to the shard to make it more alien looking.

5) Is it me, or is that cannon a little droopy?

6) The side shot is better than the front shots.
