Frightening Flamer of Tzeentch

I played several games of various points and scenarios against three other armies over the weekend. I picked up 10 WS and used them in all scenarios. They are a standard choice for me now. Plus if willing to spend the points a fully loaded exarch w spinnerette rifle can beef them considerably. Bare bones they rock also.
My buds were totally impressed w WS and new dex as a whole.
Great report.

Glad you guys liked it!
Tried out my Wraithlord, he is awesome! The complaining about him is totally unfounded. He is such a good multi purpose unit!
Er, I meant Wriathknight!

Very nice report.
Wraithlords are amazing, but it is a VERY tight Heavy Support slot to fill with the dramatic increase to Prisms, War Walkers and Dark Reapers.

Awesome to see the Eldar back in action!
I agree with you, about Dire Avengers. I've been using them as my mainstay troops. The 18' range, and Battle Focus pretty much keeps them out of charge range, for at least two volleys. My opponets (I underestimated it myself) underestimated bladestorm, the first few games. It's just amazing in action.
I really love the new Wave Serpents as well, even if they are pricey.
You really like the Wraithlord though? I tried them out in a few of my test games getting to know the codex, but I found them really underwhelming. They still just died so easy. I want to like them, but it just seems there are a lot of better options in the heavy support than the Wraithlord. However, if anyone could change my mind about them, it would be you.
EDIT:
What are your views on the Nightwing? I know you said you felt the Crimson Hunter was too expensive, what about the Nightwing?
What are your views on Wraithblades? I'm a bit on the fence about them, but I do like the models a lot.

I meant Wraithknight, oops! He kicked ass, soooo good. You have to use him right, but man is he good.
Wave Serpents are super good, too.
Dires (and bladestorm) are amazing! Frankie thought it was cheesy! haha, that killed me, Dires are cheesy.
The Wraithlord is OK. Heavy slots, as you guys noted, will be filled in pretty much every Eldar list. The Wraithknight is just better all around.
The Nightwing I think is the better flyer as it is so much harder to kill. Having a 4+ or 2+ cover saves makes a world of difference for surviving that interceptor fire the turn it comes on. It has comparable fire power, vector dancer, and a lower price point. I think it is the better flyer for sure. I haven't tried it yet though, so that is just theory.
I have not tried Wraithblades yet, either. Like you I am sort of on the fence. I think they can be great. The Axe/Shield combo is the better choice I think.
If you are going to run them, I believe you either need to take just a small squad or go all out deathstar with them with a Spirit Seer and/or Farseer or assault character and a max squad and ram them into the enemy. With fortune they can be crazy, with the +1 armor save, they can be ridiculously hard to kill. They don't have many attacks, but with prescience they can overcome those limitations, though.
I don't know, I need to try them out to really get a better idea.

Thanks a lot for your comments!
I'm looking forward to seeing your Wraithknight action in some batreps!
I'm going to start using your technique for rolling Psyker powers, as well, that was really helpful.

No worries! I am glad it helped.
Yeah, I am sure I wasn't the first to come up with that technique, but it sure does seem to yield the best results. If you get lucky and snag either Fortune and/or Doom, great! If not, fall back on the Primaris and then go over to Divination, of which 6/7 powers are awesome and the last one isn't terrible. Some of the Runes of Fate powers are just super crummy.
I am uploading a bat rep right now with the Wraithknight in action, actually! He is really good, IMO. I plan on including one in every list so far.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Tau and Eldar are going to be one of the best combos out there, I think.

Also I completely agree with how you roll powers on fate. Its a lack luster table so throw one dice at it. Maybe two depending match up and then jump to divination. For eldrad I will probably go 2 and 2 or possibly bring in telepathy depending match-up.

Yeah, it just makes the most sense. Take the primaris if you don't get doom or fortune and move on. Divination is much better.
