Playing against an ork army I would think tesla, however there's a good chance he runs a walker list ... Opinions?

Tesla still works really well against med vehicles so even if he brings a big mek list you should be fine with tesla

As a orkplayer i would advice you with ¨big amount of shots along with templates.

Along with little heavy hitter ones.

I'm not sure which one is which, but you should probably focus on the higher str and not worry about the AP.

ork vehicles have low Armor anyway and boyz are wearing t-shirts but have a solid tougness.

Ans yes, templates. Use a lot of those.

teslas the one thats higher strength no ap but procs more hits

Take Tesla for more hits at a longer range. But if you are tailoring vs orks, a couple of despair teks may be useful (because that's a great flamer!)

if he runs a walker list he is an oldschool ork that refuses to shelve his epic scraps of metal with feet. Its just not viable anymore.

Tesla is usually the goto for orks though. The two main things youre going to deal with tesla either counters best or does just about as good as Gauss, while gauss isnt as great vs the other.

Yes, its rapid fire. So what. It pens my t-shirt. So what. The one time i went against a gauss heavy line up with a horde of green i literally ignored it and just charged, it did almost nothing to me despite landing average shots/wounds.
It will wreck vehicles but like others said before ork vehicles are light anyway. I dont even run them anymore since they are just too easy to pop now days.
