Must be a decent list if adding more troops is all that is being said. Woot! ( Incoming trollers!!! They can smell "happy".)

I have a question (actually 2)

1) Why the command barge? Is it just to fit the AV13 theme you have going here? For me, that is target number 1 (wraiths is number 2). Once that overlord is walking, he's toast. That unit could cost you First Blood as well as Warlord. On T1, when there are no Scythes to shoot at, I'd focus fire on the Command Barge, then the wraiths.

2) The stalkers - I get that they are walkers and have good armour, but normally their "main" benefit is that they twin link other units. There is almost nothing that will benefit from that (just the underslung guns on the AB and the CCB). I'm not sure they are adding that much value. A GA, with 5 warriors and the OLord inside, would still fit the theme but I think would give you better synergy.

I have had tons of success with the command barge. Swing in for a swipe then assault something else. I have killed many Daemon Princes with mind shackle scarabs who thought it was wise to assault the thing. What would you suggest to replace it with that is hindering me by sticking him in a Ghost Arc playing babysitter? Those 3 annihilation barges running as a wall front of the command barge make a Great Wall of Death.

The triarch stalkers were something I was particularly interested in swing what people would say about taking them. I originally had another 6 man wraith squad with 3 whip coils to follow the barges. The stalkers are walkers that can assault if needed and can help hold an objective with the warriors. That strength 8 heavy 2 melta with a 24" range (I know the melta rule) is fantastic. Plus the particle shredder for some swarms. Other than the wraiths what better choices do I have besides the usual gauss spam?

In 5th, CCB's were one of my favourite units. In 6th, I like them, but for me the change in the movement made them a bit less useful (mainly because they are easier to pin down). Good to hear it is still working for you!

I wasn't saying that the stalkers were bad, just didn't really understand why you wanted them - that's not what they are normally used for but hey - if it works then great! If you want a possible alternative for assaults, what about spyders and scarabs? You can always put guns on the spyders (if they'll be standing still for a bit).

My only issue with spyders besides my lack of experience with them is they take up a heavy slot. How effective are spyders and what would their roll be?

Yeah I thought stalker sounded cool,
Til I started using one and it was hard to get within 12" to utilized the melta rule
Also it's TL ability is cool but as said above, you have nothing to benefit
I love taking an AV13 list but I still think your only weakness is lack of troop choices.

Spyders can be anti-horde like the PS Stalkers, and being MCs gives them a host of nice USRs. They can also do well as counter-charge units.

Edit: Also, I suggest dropping the Tachyon Arrow and getting a Res Orb for your DLord.

Looks good. Depending on how agressive you are going to be with the GA, you may get more value out of moving one of the vol-teks into the GA.

I haven't used Crypteks so forgive me for asking but can I put 2 volt-teks in the ghost ark?

You can only do that if you have a second overlord and second royal court. Can't have two from the same court in any one unit.

I am going to assume that the stormtek are for poping vehicles. If so, I agree with Markcron.. I would move one to the GA and let that warrior group be nothing more than last turn objective holder/denial unit.

In most cases, whatever transport you blow up, will have something that gets out. When it does, you could very well lose that warrior unit. You don't want to risk all your troops.

I agree. My theory was that I would drop the immortals to pop the vehicles then the flyer would shoot whatever came out. Plus the annihilation barges would be spraying the field with tesla as much as possible a long as there were targets available.

Would it be worth the trouble to take 1 cryptek out to give the D-lord a res orb and another wraith a shooting weapon just because I have the 5 extra points?

I'd drop the command barge and hide your hq in a scythe. I'm sure he'll probably kill something but in the end he'll end up dead and you'll give a point to your opponent. I run a dlord with fully decked out wraiths and he's never seen the end of the game so I have to get a cheap no frills hq and stick him in a scythe to avoid giving away that point.

Decent, if you want to run stalkers for variety.

I really prefer the offensive power of the CCB. Also to add the list with the volteks. Would dropping 1 wraith be worth it to add a 3rd voltek so all of my troops have one with them?

Okay how is this for a list? 1500 points baby!

5 wraiths w/2 whip coils,1 particle blaster
