I'm okay with there being more characters weithout removing old characters, but then again I don't give a burning rodent's backside about competitive play.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Somehow, this is scarier than the actual film could ever be.

I think you're all forgetting the best thing about the Wii Fit trainer getting in.

Wii Fit Trainer will be the new Jiggly Puff.

Are you implying that Jigglypuff was in any way a joke character?

Puff's got some crazy stuff. Seriously, I'm still traumatized from the last few matches I had against one.

Well her spin attack is deadly but she is hard to use, it's mostly how sissy she comes across that makes her a joke although it's hilarious to see someone kick ass with jiggly puff.

I can see your idea of Jigglypuff is heavily warped. Rollout is a horrible attack that is incredibly easy to see coming.

It's all about that Back air. It actually has more range and disjoint (ie, it goes through everything) than Marth's sword. Her forward Smash is as strong as Marth's tipper (albeit kind of slow and with a weird hitbox), and her Rest requires little explanation.
There's very little that characters like Sheik or Peach can do to her.

That said, Jiggs actually has a pretty low technical skill requirement.

Here's a vid of the best Jiggs player in the world. He's pretty crazy. That said, his opponent is also one of the best players in the world too.

Just saying. I have nightmares containing Jigglypuff. She is capable of incredibly dirty things.

I'm not saying she's bad just I find her hard to use and she just doesn't look very cool.

Oh yes. Oh god yes.

As for who they could get rid of, my vote would be Lucas, lucario, Dedede, Wario, and someone else, anyone else really. Just keep Megaman, add in either Protoman or Bass (Since it's not the X series and we can flat out ignore Zero, Axl, Sigma and Vile :/ )

Considering Protoman has a shield and depending on the series a Blade, and Bass can shoot in all eight directions (Not to mention getting different powers from the same bosses, and also not including how he can MERGE with Treble), there is still a lot to explore in Mega's universe.

Anyone else kinda disappointed that Samus is using her Other M look? I don't want that to become popular..... Do you think she'll still lose her suit if she does her Final Smash?

Agree with the list of characters that could go. Add Protomen, he is so much cooler than Bass. Hate Wario. Really bad, poor animations.

I'd want them to keep third party characters to one per franchise per company.

As for Samus, I'd really prefer if they went with her Prime look.

Honestly though, I don't see why they don't add alternate costumes for characters already.

That's a good idea, I also love her prime suit.

I really want to see the Fusion suit. I love playing Metroid Prime with the Fusion suit

For third party characters, I would cut it at three, and only three:

Capcom: Megaman - Megaman
Konami: Simon Belmont - Castlevania (bonus points for basing it off of Ayame Kojima's artwork, but any representation would be awesome)
Final Fantasy: White Mage - Final Fantasy 1

All NES classics that went on to heavily influence and shape the world of gaming as a whole.

Now, I know what you're saying "Fafnir, why White Mage? Wouldn't someone like Fighter or even Black Mage be more fitting."

And perhaps, yes, it is true that Fighter or Black Mage would be more fitting. But White Mage would be more awesome. And that's all that really matters. The only thing that could be more awesome than one White Mage is Four White Mages.

The logic seems sound to me.

How awesome would it be if White Mage could actually HEAL people in an area. The moment you give her and her ally breathing room, they lose 50% off their total.

That's awesome.

I'm not going to lie, I hope with the next SSB they either include X, or kick Megaman out and include X (Preferably with moves from X4).

Or let the fans decide in a vote which one they want (X for the win!)

As much as I prefer the X games to the original series (and the Zero series to all of them. Seriously, Megaman Zero was amazing), Classic Megaman represents a more important piece of Nintendo history than X ever could.

While I can't argue that (Who could?), no one can argue that the X series is one of the few "reboots" that was done 100% right; take the original formula, add in good, get rid of bad, and then make it prettier.

While the Megaman series is undoubtedly more important to the history of gaming, the X series is just all around better.
