sounds like your "friends" aren't being too helpful. Nor being smart gamers as growing the game is important.

Unfortunately it does not sound like playing warmachine is going to be very easy for you. I don't want to say give it up, but you might want to find some other things to do while you slowly build up and grow your models.

You got a bunch of ideas from everyone here so now you just need to work on it.

If these "friends" are really good friends then I would expect them to be more understanding and work with you. The things you are mentioning sound more like "elitist" gamers than friends. No proxying, not helping you get better or playing armies that are balanced against yours, etc.

I'm not sure if they are available in Poland, but I know in Canada you can buy pre-paid credit cards at pretty much anywhere gift cards are sold. There is something like a $2.50 fee for activating it, but if you don't have a credit card it might be a good, if convoluted, stopgap measure, as you can use these prepaid cards for online purchases. Its just something to consider.

They are . They let me play 35 pts ,that is not what is played around here . Everyone plays 50 . In w40k terms it is as if they played 750pts.

We don't have any here and gift cards can be bought only online with a credit card , which imo is stupid , because if someone has a credit card why buy the code for a gift card anyway .

Mak, have you considered trying to find a store online that takes money orders or cashier's checks? You might have to email them to find out and wait an extra week or two as your payment goes through the mail, but most places - at lesat the small privately owned ones- will probably accept that kind of payment if you ask them. I'm pretty sure you can get those at most any bank, but I don't know Polish commerce.

Had to check what a cashier checks is . From what I understand there are no such things here . You can pay for stuff in a bank , if you have an account there or in a different bank , if your want to move money to a bank you have an account . You can also do it at the Post office too, but only when your paying for stuff like gas or electricty and stuff.


I did check the links people gave me and did write emails. Non of the firms does pay on delivery to Poland.

COD is one thing, what a money order is, is basically you pay the gas station/whatever the money, plus a dollar or so, and they give you a "check" that is worth that amount, its insured incase you dont recieve what you ordered.
I'm not sure if other countries have them but i've recieved them from other countries before.

I asked my parents and there is something like that , but you have to be a firm to use , else you can't trade stuff without an account overseas.

yep. Read it in full , all true . You can get a credit card , you can get a debet card .there are no pre paid Visa cards , because if they were people would buy FW with them and wouldn't have to pay full at our GW and people would use them to pay for xbox live etc. All true . But to do it you either have to make an account at the bank and for that you need income in form of a pansion or salary etc It has to above minimum wage else you won't get an account or the other option is just to get the card , but they have to take a recipe from your work that shows your last 3 months income or the same thing from ZUS which pays people rents etc.

Why don't your parents help you out? They seem to be in the know about this type of thing.

Wait...Wal Mart (which has about seven different pre-paid Credit Card options at every cashier) hasn't invaded Poland yet? I'm surprised.

There are only french and german owned supermarket chains , if your asking about that . And from what I understand non of the banks in Poland has any prepaid cards anymore. There was a program for those for people who wanted to buy cheap air tickets , but it is no longer done anymore.
