I decided to post all of my cultist in 1 place, they will be added as and when I finish them.

Well anyway guys and gals here they are.

I want to base them on a no mans land idea. Any ideas on how to make barbed wire? C&C wanted please. Sorry about the pics my camera has gone up to the big Nikon grave yard in the sky.

Loving them, which WW2 miniatures are you using?

I'm guessing there's a lot of conversion work in here, yes?

That's the way i see it too dude. Surely future Commies can't be as bad as the current lot. Mind you give it a year or 2 and thats Britain anyway lmao. I shall try and get a few more done this week and stick them all on 1 post.

Love it! Te cloaked one with the mask is my favorite cultist model and painted that way, oh man, I just feel like buying some cultists from ebay and painting!

Have you thought of adding symbols for fun, like the star or hammer and scythe? Or are you avoiding the silly route? Either way, great worka and choice of colors!

Neat.

I like that they look like some sort of a semi-regular army, rather than random street thugs that accidentally wound up in a warzone. Rocking the paramilitary angle.

Your one-stop website for batreps, articles, and assorted goodies about the men of Folera: Foleran First Imperial Archives. Read Dakka's favorite narrative battle report series The Hand of the King. Also, check out my commission work, and my terrain.

Abstract Principles of 40k: Why game imbalance and list tailoring is good, and why tournaments are an absurd farce.

Read "The Geomides Affair", now on sale! No bolter porn. Not another inquisitor story. A book written by a dakkanought for dakkanoughts!

Cheers dude. I love the cultists look. Everyone paints them as a rag tag squad, my instant thought was to run them as a cryogenically frozen squad of soldiers that have been woken up find their old uniforms and a few of their weapons. Once out in the open they kill for, salvage and build their own weapons and join the first army they come across.

I have though about adding symbols but I'm going to wait until I have a few and pencil some on ad see how they turn out

The fact they have some uniformity to them inspired me, I've always wanted to make an ork hoard into some uniformed squad, but my gs skills are a little lacking lol

what''s your recipe? These look great, but it doesn't look like you spent 4 hours on each one which is exactly what I'm looking for.

Cheers dude. I base in mechanicus grey (which works really well for those colours) then paint the main colour all over, the first guy zandri dust the second stormvermin fur, then the next largest colour until all the main colours are done. A thin wash of agrax, then paint the boots and metalics. A second wash of agrax on the main colours and the weapons and sepia on the gold. Then a bit of edge highlighting.

I only paint as a hobby not to play and don't need to rush an army out. If I'm painting and watching tv its about 3hours work but if I'm locked on what I'm doing about 45 mins max.

Its all about working on the larger areas first……………….......... ohh and my old friend sailor jerry and his best buddy mr c cola lol
