I have this model vindicator I picked up off ebay. It doesn't have a siege shield but on the front it has four holes that look like it could accommodate one.
Is it possible to put a siege shield on this model if so can I use the current shield or would I be better off just buying the newer version?

Those 4 holes aren't for a shield attachment. Scratch building will be best if you know what ur doing.

Ugh, I definitely don't. =/ I wouldn't even know where to begin. How mad do you think an opponent would be in a tourney setting if I didn't have that shield on? I have one that does have it...gah..

Easy mode, get a dozer blade off a lemon russ
add plastic card to the back and cut a channel in the middle so that the gun can shoot between

its minimum work that is obviously a dozer blade

Um tournament might be a problem. Friendly games should be okay.

Dozer blades from Imperial Guyard tanks might work.

Found one on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Imperial-Guard-Tank-Dozer-Blade-1-/111102051828?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item19de32c5f4

If not just a general search like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=&_osacat=31398&_catref=1&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR10.TRC0.A0.Xdozer+blade&_nkw=dozer+blade&_sacat=31398&_from=R40

Would this one work? It's the biggest of the IG ones I could find pretty quickly.

If you have plasticard at hand building basic siege shields isn't that hard to do. The problem is attaching them.

Just cut out the side panels and glue large square pieces of plasticard between them. The rest is just adding details, cuting out the hole for the barrel and driver and attach it somehow.
