I would. I like it. As long as it's a 'counts as'-model, why not?

Maybe but it seems more like a Looted Wagon.

"With iron and fire the beast shall be lain low at the hands of the Hunters whose home is under the Bloodmoon." - Bloodmoon Hunters Chapter

I mean, it's not like you've pinched a WWII air fix kit and said; "it's an Ork Battle Wagon." You've put effort into that.

An Armour Save? No, never heard of it. Me? I play Imperial Guard.

It just seems a bit small, even though the Devilfish is a rather large model.

I like it though, so I'd probably allow it if some LOS leeway was given.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Yes, just for the coolness of the model.

Go for it. I think it's more like a looted wagon (no place to put boys for a battle wagon), but it's your conversion; do what you want.

I'd definitely accept it as a Looted Wagon. I wouldn't complain if my opponent used it as a Battlewagon, though I don't think it fits.

If you added some platforms it would be a lot better. As is, I would be totally cool with it. I love Orky konvershuns

Looks fine to me game-wise, but model-wise I think you can do better. It needs a couple of boyz hanging one-handed off the turret and a grot getting squished at the front!

Rule of cool and that's pretty darn cool!

I agree that a platform attached to the back like the beverly hillbillies pickup would be properly orky and make it more battlewagon than looted wagon.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Having never SEEN a battlewagen I don't know it's size, but if it reasonably similar, heck, go for it.
Looks awesome, orky and obviously you put some effort there.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

I think a battlewagon would be a bit longer but maybe narrower than a devilfish.

If you added some space to make it at least look like it could carry some models, then sure But I'd have to agree with the others that it looks more like a looted wagon. In fact, I used to have a few devilfish i used as looted wagons heh.

In a tourney, I doubt you'd get away with it though, far too small. Could be argued that it's MfA

Yes. But I suggest you make some railings/platforms or glue some Boyz hanging off the tank to make it look more like a Battlewagon.

Ok with me!
If you count everything as hull equally (boys can charge out of it VS opponents can target the gun part as the hull).

Love the conversion btw
