My personal favorite was when an EA CEO said "We are not an evil company, our main focus is however making money to bring the best games to our customers," In response to a reporters question of being the lowest ranked American company in both customer and employee satisfaction. He then proceeded to explain for the next hour why EA needed more money to deliver "1st rate" satisfaction.

I'm curious, even if flying aircraft may/may not be in. Will we still see jump packs?
Space marines multi with Assault marines was amazing, and I'd love to see the differences between the honed space marines, the (Explosive) stormboyz of the orks, the skill and dexterity of the Swooping Hawks, and the Ferocious charge of the Raptors.
Also, I wonder if chaos will be getting mutations? Every race has it's thing, and it's not chaos if we don't have some sort of mutations that cause giant claws and beastly arms.

The jump packs felt so good just coming to a team mates aid smashing down like thors hammer and emerging from the dust like the armour clad god you are.
Jump pack doesn't mean jump pack, however. It might work just like you think it would, but it could also merely give you a jump-pack skill that allows for a single long-range jump.

That's how it worked in Space Marine, which I enjoyed greatly.
Though I think for like Swooping hawks they should be able to "Fly" a little bit.

yes they say that space marine is an ispiration for eternal crusade: i hope they recreate te same "feeling" when moving, you fell heavy you fell agile and run fast, but you are like a bull when you run, it's hard to stop.

They actually got the bolters right too, that game pretty much was one of the best representations of 40K currently when it came down to the smaller details.

Indeed, dont think I can actually think of a negative aspect in that game with regards to the portrayal of space marines.

only the mine/stiky grenade launcher is out of fluff, or maybe the melta (?) gun, in all games melta are different weapon, i wonder how it will work in eternal crusade.

Well the Vengeance launcher was described as an "Experimental" Weapon that had been exclusive to that forgeworld.
And yes Melta is always seeming to change, but even still it's more like the tabletop, one powerful blast rather then one constant heat based one.
Sorry, I have been busy so I keep reading all but does not have the time to reply to all request. (I am pretty sure Sigvatr that EA-CEO was not doing that ;-) )
But here are Eternal Crusade Primach (Me) quick answers from the last 3 pages:
1- got my ringtone on a free android app called Zedge!
2-JetPack will behave close to what you had in SpaceMarine THQ while considering the amount of players battling each other on the same playfield. I can't tell you more without telling you too much. :-)
3-You wish you were me...... I just finished testing the new version of the SpaceMarine run, stop, run, dodge and run, jump of a clif and dodge....... EPIC!!!! (but the dev told me he runs too fast and will have to be slowed down :-( since they are balancing his run with the bikes and at current speed he runs.... the bikes would be zooooooommmmm..... oups... the bike is gone already!!! :-) )

@miguelcaron:
Thanks for being so transparant and open with the community!
Loved the ringtone btw
@everyone:
Can space marines of different chapters still be in 1 party / squad / merge their ships together? Our group of friends/girlfriends like different chapters (mainly spacewolves, ultramarines, bloodangels) and we would like to be in a single squad together instead of being limited to group with only space wolves for example.
I'm not sure if this has been answered yet, but I couldnt find it.
Looking at the last interview that was posted, how does everyone feel about last technology?
For example, should Chaos have access to different lost technology than loyalist marines, and/or should they have access to lost tech from the start (because it survived since the horus heresy?)

I don't believe they will limit grouping of different chapters, (cause altough it's kinda not 100% with the lore, except if it's deathwatch squad), it would still be hard to make everyone in the guild play same chapter.
Considering chaos technology, they do have some "old school" tech, but at the same time, i think most of their gear (from hand weapons to battleships) is more or less working with help of demons and "chaos stuff" and less cause they kept the pre-heresy technology knowledge, and they also lost most knowledge, cause there are regular fights betwen loyalist and traitors around STC-s.

‘I am Pax Imperialis and it is I.
We are one, we are now the Gods of war.

Only glorious war’.

Yeah that sounds about right! I hope that you will be able to group up from different chapters.
It would be nice to see loyalist marines be able to get reaper autocannons (for instance) as a lost-tech or relic of some kind (assuming it does something else as an assault cannon, if they are in the game).
Chaos would probably get stuff as lost-tech/relics that is demon powered, like demon weapons. I'd love to see sonic weapons as special weapons though!
Cant wait for this. I really like the idea of choosing a 'path' so to speak, and specializing. Would love to be a chaos havoc or sorcerer.
What I want to know is can you be a chaos havoc straight from the start with like a barebones heavy bolter? Or would you need to start as a standard marine and unlock playing as a havoc.
I also hope that the weapons you unlock, say for example a reaper autocannon isn't just plain better than say a heavy bolter, just different.
If this is a game where everything is roughly balanced and its all about preference then its my dream game.
Just using the havoc as an example here, referring to all troop categories in general.

I have a couple of questions about the classes that you will be able to chose.
- How to you plan to limit more powerful HQ and elite units such as warlocks or Exarch's for different aspect warriors. Will they only be available for squad leaders and the like and if so wouldn't
that cut them off from the more casual players or players that just don't want to lead?
-Do you have plans to allow the Eldar players to use Wraithgaurd in order to fill the heavy infantry role that other races have, ie. Terminators and Nobs. And if so would you try to implement
some sort of system to give them a dependance/ buff from nearby Spiritseers?

Squads and company in what organisation?
There have been a few threads talking about making a dakka group but frankly they seem overly organised and considering the game is 2 years off it also seems a bit weird to be planning that now.

Just in case it was just a matter of interest and not a precursor to trying to organize dakka into a guild for eternal crusade, I am definately going to play a space wolf grey hunter (tactical marine). I always loved the allrounder/medium range role. With a plasma gun if possible, and otherwise just a bolter or something. I also played this role in space marine, and I enjoyed it very much ^^
(unless sisters of battle come out, i've been loving them since 2nd ed!)

Well I just watched the interview and the ending was indeed rather funny I liked the emphasis that this game is for the 40k fans and that they are engaged regularly for input and feedback.
Question for Miguel: I was curious as to how people are elected to the War Councils of each faction. Is this a community-driven election or would there be some sort of contest of skill? Or is there something else you have in mind? I ask since Marines would likely have elections while Orks would beat the snot out of each other to see who's the biggest Ork.
